ANT-MAN AND THE WASP Concept Art Finally Puts Michael Douglas' Hank Pym In The Yellowjacket Suit
A cool new piece of Ant-Man and The Wasp has surfaced today and it features Hank Pym donning a new version of the Yellowjacket costume just like his comic book counterpart! Hit the jump to take a look...
In the comic books, Hank Pym's mental issues resulted in him taking on a number of different personas including Ant-Man, Giant-Man, and Yellowjacket. The latter was actually used as the lead villain in 2015's Ant-Man when Darren Cross donned the armour but a new piece of concept art for an unused scene in Ant-Man and The Wasp shows Hank finally taking on his famous Yellowjacket persona.
It's strange that he would choose to don a new version of Cross' armour but it could be that he realised it was technologically advanced enough to help him travel into the Quantum Realm to find Janet.
Speaking of Janet, her presence here points to these four teaming up in the Quantum Realm at some point but that idea was obviously scrapped to deliver the version of the sequel's final act which ended up on screen. Are you disappointed that Hank wore that modified Ant-Man costume/spacesuit rather than taking on his Yellowjacket persona? Share your thoughts in the comments section below!
