Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

I was entertained whle I watched it, but after I left the theatre I did feel disappointed.

Paul Rudd wasn't Scott, he just played the same character he always does.
I hated how every line was a joke.
How they suddenly shoe horned in an utterly forced kiss with Hope.

And how crappy the villain was.

The pet ant sealed the deal for me. It truly felt like a Disney movie.....you know like Flubbed or Dr. DoLittle.

Love Ant Man. But this trailer was also hilarious. Did you know we can actually enjoy movies while looking past their flaws?

Hopefully Thanos is as interesting as Loki and Grant Ward, rather than being another Aldrich Killian.

The design for yellowjacket was one of the best villain designs yet IMHO, but his motivations & arc were a total letdown.
Shame. I liked the movie overall though. Just get rid of T.I. and the Russian guy. Peña can stay.
