ANT-MAN Trailer Receives 29 Million Views Topping GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY
Many scoffed at the idea of an Ant-Man movie, just as they dismissed James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy when it was first announced. However, if trailer views are anything to go by, this tiny superhero is set to star in a BIG hit! Read on for details about Marvel's latest success...
It's Ant-Man week on CBM! Entertainment Weekly have revealed that the first trailer for the final movie in Phase 2 has received over 29 million views since its debut on Tuesday. Those are great numbers, and while they obviously can't be used as an indicator of box office success, it's good news for Marvel that so many eyes have been reached by the first look at this unknown property. Let's face it though, at this point, Kevin Feige and company are incapable of NOT making a hit. Marvel have appparently told the site that this is a higher figure than the trailer premiere of Guardians of the Galaxy, a.k.a. 2014's highest grossing superhero movie. It's actually one of their highest trailer debuts to date, so don't be surprised if Ant-Man ends up being a giant sized hit!
