Paul Rudd in Ridiculously awesome shape ala Chris Pratt

Similarly to Chris Pratt, Paul Rudd is taking his place in the MCU very seriously. Take a look at this recent pic.

Paul Rudd hits the beach in Cabo (FameFlynet)

The actor had this to say about his fitness: "When I'm not working, I won't shave or cut my hair or exercise," Rudd told Men's Health in 2007. "I turn into Brian Wilson, the off years. I grow my fingernails out like that guy in the Guinness Book of World Records."

When asked about Ant-Man: "Well, it's all just kind of starting, so it's really cool," Rudd told Flicks and the City about the film. "I'm very excited about it… I read some comics and seen some [Marvel] movies and I knew [director] Edgar Wright for many years. The whole thing that it's actually happened, that I got the part is still kind of surreal. It's still sinking in over these last several months."

Any comments you know where to put them.

No need for all superheroes to be muscular and beffy. Someone like Ant Man should be like a lean and agile explorer, not a Thor level jock.

well he is suppose to be a regular guy in the film, so he doesnt have to buff up alot, isnt scott lang a father in the comics?

I think a lot of people are fine with Rudd as Lang. The article, however is a tad misleading.

i like paul rudd and i think he is the perfect fit for scott lang and while some people might not like the direction of the character, i think michael douglas is gonna be great as Hank pym,im very excited for this film and i never thought i would say that about Ant Man!!!

Yes, he's in ridiculous shape. Like in laughable.

Nevermind, I like Paul Rudd and I think it's an AWESOME casting. To be honest, I'm more interested to see him than Michael Douglas. Nothing against Michael, though. He'll be cool.

And let's stop this bodybuilding paranoia. Ant-Man doesn't need to be some beefy dude.

This is great! It's nice since all actors who have played super heroes before Chris Pratt never hit the gym.

Like I've said before, I think the potential chemistry between Rudd and Douglas could be gold! Add in a great director in Edgar Wright, and you got yourselves a winner!

@UltimateWarrior Don't forget, we may get flashbacks to Patrick Wilson as Pym, which would be cool.
