Check out this cool, behind-the-scenes video which illustrates how VFX studio, Cinesite, brought Paul Rudd's Ant-Man and Corey Stoll's Yellowjacket to life. How excited are you for the sequel, Ant-Man and the Wasp, hitting theaters on July 6, 2018?

Forced out of his own company by former protégé Darren Cross, Dr. Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) recruits the talents of Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), a master thief just released from prison. Lang becomes Ant-Man, trained by Pym and armed with a suit that allows him to shrink in size, possess superhuman strength and control an army of ants. The miniature hero must use his new skills to prevent Cross, also known as Yellowjacket, from perfecting the same technology and using it as a weapon for evil.

Ant-Man was released on June 29, 2015 and grossed $518.6 million US dollars worldwide from an estimated budget of $130 million US dollars. The film was released on blu-ray, blu-ray 3D, and DVD on December 8, 2015. The film is also part of the 13-disc box set, titled "Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Two Collection". A sequel to the film, titled 'Ant-Man and the Wasp" is currently slated to arrive in North American theaters on July 6, 2018. However, Ant-Man will next be seen in Captain America: Civil War, which hits theaters in March.

Haven't seen Ant-Man yet, but Gusto didn't like it so it's probably excellent.

Antman is a better movie than Age of Ultron IMO.

Great movie. But I think nowadays people do not want to see simple and entertaining movies any more.

People want to see only "adult" and "dark" movies..

Personally I think there is room for all types of superhero movies. But it seems that now there is only one right way to do these movies - they have to be "adults" "realistic" and "dark". That´s really sad.

Gotta re-watch this one. This and GoTG were Marvel's recent big ex-underdogs, now highlights.

@marccampos - Yes. [frick] those 'gotta be serious to be good' people. I also enjoy Watchmen and TDK as much as GoTG and And-Man.

@Fogs Yeah! I really like MoS and Watchmen.. and like AoU, Ant-Man. Warner also try to do some "funny" superhero movies.. like Green Lantern, Catwoman, Steel...
some films do work others do not. This is absolutely nomal in Hollywood.

all producers try to hit and think they are doing what is right for each film.

none of them want to make a bad movie or a failure.

that´s why it is so hard to hit ... and I think that both Marvel, as Fox and Warner try to do their best.

I think we have to take advantage of this time that we - fans - are living.. with so many superheros films going on. because this will not last long ..
and then we will remember the time we have lost in silly fights.

@fogs - hahahaha.. thanks bro!

I am 51 years old and read superheroes comics for all my life. I remember when the Adam West Batman movie came out in theaters and then the Richard Donner's Superman movie came out in theaters .. we -fans at that time- always dreamed to see other characters being treated that way.

and today we have all these fantasy, sci-fi and superheroes movies .. and I think that all the fans were partying all of this every movie that coming out.

but I only see people fighting and getting angry with these films.

I really did not expect this reaction from people. it seems that the more we have more spoiled we became.. I'm sorry for my terrible english.. I live in Brazil and don´t speak english very well.
