AQUAMAN Action Figure Reveals A Very Different Costume For Mera In The DC Comics Movie

We know that Arthur Curry will have a few different costumes in Aquaman but a newly surfaced Mera action figure reveals that Amber Heard will also get to rock a very unique look in the upcoming movie.

James Wan's Aquaman movie is going to take a deep dive into Arthur Curry's world and that means exploring a lot of different elements from the comic books. So far, we've learned that the titular character is going to wear a number of costumes, including his classic green and gold suit, while Mera will be rocking a comic accurate green number which has been lifted straight from the source material.

Now, a photo of an action figure featuring Mera's likeness has been revealed which shows the hero wearing, well, it's certainly not your typical superhero costume! Fans are already speculating that this is some sort of regal attire, with some even imagining that it's the wedding dress she'll wear at the end of the movie to tie the knot with Arthur Curry (it seems a little too early for that, though, right?).

lol, i basically JUST read that issue, it's from that Aquaman/Suicide Squad crossover, so either this is a big ass coincidence, or someone is just makin up shit! :P

Me and my wife went to watch it again (been years since I last saw it) and thought our 10yr old would enjoy it but I can’t remember if there was a topless scene with Kelly McGillis. I’d rather not otherwise.

@ChangAlang - Yes, it's pretty brief and mostly in the dark. I wouldn't let my kids watch it at that age, but you'll have to judge that for yourself.

@BlackBeltJones - Instead of casting an actor who looks the part, they sort of make a mess these days....cough...Loboaquaman....cough...
I hope they do us right with this movie though. Lots of potential.

@BlackBeltJones - Well, in their defense red hair is generally difficult to reproduce with dye or wigs. It always comes out too bright like this, or some off-color like a reddish-purple. I have dark red hair (not the orange kind) and as far back as I can remember I've had women comment that they want that color and can't get it.

I still hope she crashes and burns. Accuses her ex-husband of domestic abuse in a very public way only to then admit in court that she was the one abusing him. I hope this movie fails, and that sucks for everyone who worked on it, And she gets recast or something. She can't even act to begin with and then she goes and pulls this crap.

@Omegacron - I never once said you shouldn't, I said I hope the movie fails so she doesn't get any more work. I don't really see the point you are trying to make because I watch movies with people I don't agree with all the time because at the end of the day it is a movie and I can look past the actor. I'm saying that she is a bad actress and a bad person and so I hope I don't have to see her again, although I have no problem seeing movies she is in. You not watching a movie because you don't agree with an actor or actress is your choice.

@Omegacron - no but I hope she is terrible in the movie and the studio recasts her. Her abuse really isn't getting any attention at all so how else is she supposed to be punished? Again, I hope the movie is great, I like James Wan and hope he keeps making great movies. if the movie made 3 billion dollars and was amazing then great, I'm hoping she is absolute crap in it.I probably worded that really wrong earlier but literally no one is calling her out after she admitted in court to abusing Johnny Depp yet everyone was yelling at him when she very publicly accused him of abuse and didn't file a police report or tried to do anything through the legal system. The court of public opinion is completely F'ed.
