According to Superhero News (part of the Batman-News and Spider-Man News network), they have learned who will make up the roster of Earth's Mightiest Heroes when Avengers: Age of Ultron comes to an end. We've heard about a number of possible candidates, but they claim that the team will consist of leaders Captain America and Black Widow along with The Falcon, Scarlet Witch, The Vision, and War Machine. They also weigh in on the rumour that Quicksilver won't make it out of the sequel alive. Bleeding Cool were the first to report his death, while Badass Digest would later claim that he met his make in at least one draft of the screenplay (just not the latest). Superhero News says it's true though and that he goes down protecting a fellow Avenger! This seems like a huge waste of the character by Marvel, don't you think? Click below for further details.

I'll be pissed if QS gets killed off. From the tv spot, I loved his cockiness and accent. Something I didn't enjoy from Wally West in DOFP.

a pure waste if they kill him off they can make some awesome scene with quicksilver man think about how they have made a flash tv show and his getting a movie just think of what marvel could do with this cool character.

just as a geek? I think he of all characters can die there; and then he'll come back in Infinity Wars...........death / resurrection with the Scarlet Witch? totally can work. it's like he's a sort of MCU version of Wonder Man in that role.

Two possibilities here:

1) 2 drafts of the script had 2 different outcomes - 1st draft killed off Quicksilver, and the later draft changed it, since maybe Whedon found himself liking ATJ's performance

2) That 2nd draft has been changed again in the year-plus since then, and Quicksilver ends up biting it as originally planned.

I kind of doubt it though. Like Wilding said, it seems like a massive waste. And unless Quicksilver pulls a "Groot", I doubt we'll care about him THAT much in the span of one movie for his death to be meaningful at all.

I saw this theory a little earlier today - knowing Whedon, he'd have a Hulked-out Banner accidentally kill Black Widow. THAT is the type of gut-punch that Whedon is more likely to do, not introduce and kill off a brand new character in one movie.

How many of these spoilers/rumors are there going to be. I think the studio released a bunch of different versions just to mess with us so that no one really knows what's going to happen.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they do end up killing QS off.

I could see them killing off Vision too, especially if that is the soul gem on his forehead

Why do people keep saying that Thor dies? Hemsworth, along with RDJ and Evans, filmed his final scene in AOU where he leaves for Asgard.

And I just thought of something. What if his shoes are green for the CG? I bet they won't be green in the film. So that will be his Avengers costume I bet. The first one we seen a while ago. In the trailers when he's fighting the Avengers he's wearing something different.

It is possible that Vision's "solar jewel" is a soul gem. Let's say that Stark uses the gem in the Scepter to power up his Ultron drones. And what if Thor goes to retrieves the Soul Gem after receiving his vision from Scarlet Witch. Thor returns and tells Stark to build another android (Vision) and uses the Soul gem to power him up.
