Joe and Anthony Russo were once little known directors - a pair of brothers whose best known accomplishments included
Arrested Development and
Community - both of which were television series with a cult following, the latter even having been created by
Rick and Morty co-creator Dan Harmon.
While the two are definitely talented, it wasn't until they took those talents to the Marvel Cinematic Universe that they started to be recognized on a global scale. The brothers teamed up and directed four films for Marvel -
Captain America: Winter Soldier, Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and
Avengers: Endgame - which are all considered by many fans to be amongst the MCU's finest.
Joe and Anthony recognize their massive change in stardom over the past decade and have now tweeted to ensure that all of their fans are properly thanked. There is plenty in the video for
Community and Marvel fans alike - and set to a tone that
Community fans are
sure to love. Check out the thank you video from the directors for yourself below!
What do you guys think? Would you rather see the Russo Brothers come back to Marvel, make new films, or finally work on that
Community movie that the six seasons earned years ago. Let us know your thoughts in the comments, and if you've been under a rock you can check out the trailer for
Avengers: Endgame below!
Adrift in space with no food or water, Tony Stark sends a message to Pepper Potts as his oxygen supply starts to dwindle. Meanwhile, the remaining Avengers -- Thor, Black Widow, Captain America and Bruce Banner -- must figure out a way to bring back their vanquished allies for an epic showdown with Thanos -- the evil demigod who decimated the planet and the universe.
Avengers: Endgame is currently streaming on Disney+, while Community is currently streaming on Hulu.
