Newly Surfaced AVENGERS 4 Set Photos May Provide Some Major Clues About The Sequel - SPOILERS

Some new photos from the set of Avengers 4 point to a very familiar scene to fans of the MCU being recreated while a fresh shot of Chris Evans could also shed some light on where things will be going.

In a new batch of Avengers 4 set photos shared by Atlanta Magazine, we see carnage and destruction in New York City and if you look closely - we can't share them here due to copyright issues so click above to check them out - the scene may look familiar. As you may realise, it's actually a near perfect recreation of the moment in 2012's The Avengers when Nick Fury tells Iron Man that a nuke is about to be dropped on the Big Apple and you can even spot the Sedan that Tony crashed into in that movie.

Set photos have already confirmed that we'll revisit the events of the Joss Whedon helmed release but these point to that memorable shot of Earth's Mightiest Heroes assembled being used, potentially with the characters as they appear now. After all, there has to be a good reason why Marvel chose to keep the original six alive following the shocking events of Infinity War when Thanos snapped his fingers.

Also below is a new image of Chris Evans on the set of Avengers 4 last December and, as you can see, he's not rocking a beard and looks like classic Steve Rogers. Robert Downey Jr. has previously shared photos from what seems to be the New Avengers Facility and it's now hard not to wonder what role that may play in proceedings. It certainly points to that promo art actually being legit anyway

What do you think of these new set photos? Share your thoughts on that in the comments section.

Not a big fan of time travel. Just seems like a cop out to me I guess. But Marvel hasn't let me down yet...

@Prime8 - I totally agree. I'm really hoping all these things that are leading everyone to think Time Travel is involved are misleading.

Time Travel is almost never done well and it creates too much of a mess.

If they use to change events from IW then it just seems like a cheap way fixing things.

Hopefully they use BARF to visit the memories of all remaining Avengers and try to learn from the stones through their memories (maybe a bit like DofP where only the memory is send back in time). Also, Gunn confirmed that Ego banged a woman of Mantis’ species

Didn`t black Panthers sister grab something and ran away from Thanos Henchmen near the end of Avengers- IW?

Maybe a MINIATURE fragment of the Timestone?. Vision is already lying on the table?... ;)

So that’s the scene where Ironman flies through the Leviathan and lands into the bus stop while Nick Fury tells him about the nuke.
Is he going to have a space capable suit and fly the nuke right into Thanos this time? Haha.

Thanos has to take the gaunlet off his hand when he goes to the bathroom. So, that's the perfect time to steal it.

@Vagabond:
That`s me trying to imply that it has something to do with Ant-Man. Hence the reference to him fighting his way through Visions synthetic body to revitalise him, like in the comics, ages ago.

@Vagabond:
Strange can cotact Shuri in astral form. He`s the frikkin Sorcerer Supreme.
The Timestone could be snatched from that reality/future where they actually succeeded defeating Thanos (remember? that one in a million outcome?).
