Whenever I get defeated by Thor, I stop being defeated and be awesome instead. True story.
Just because I was bored, I started thinking of my dream cast for the Avengers movie. Joss Whedon is pretty loyal to his actors and I started thinking which of his regulars we would see in the upcoming superhero epic. While it would be awesome to see Alan Tudyk or Nathan Fillion fighting alongside Iron Man or Captain America, but then I realized one awesome cast addition.
Neil Patrick Harris as Loki.
I'm sure Tom Hiddleston will be awesome in the roll, but come on, NPH would totally kill this role. We already got his How I Met Your Mother co-star Cobie Smulders cast as Maria Hill, so just keep it in the family! NPH can be menacing, over the top, and comedic, perfect for Loki! Hell, the character he plays on HIMYM is basically what Loki would be like if he was on Earth, so just give him some armor and he's good. So here it is, I'm starting the internet campaign now, NPH as Loki!
P.S. This is purely comedic and not a real cry to recast Loki.
