Loki Further Rumored To Villainize The Avengers, But With New Allies!

Possible Spoiler Alert! The God Of Mischief has yet again been rumored to take on The Avengers, however, instead of with a Jade Giant, it may be with familiar other "green" beings. Check it out!

The folks over at Latino Review have landed another Exclusive, now involving Joss Whedon's crossover extravaganza The Avengers; particularly who Earth Mightest Heroes will go up against. While the God Of Micheif, Loki, has been mentioned far too often not to believe, it seems there will be a twist with who he manages to get as his ally, or rather Allies.

The main villain for The Avengers is none other than Thor's adoptive brother and archenemy LOKI! But that's not all, Loki needs some serious muscle to go up against [Spoiler Alert]"The Avengers" and he does this by using the cosmic cube seen in "Captain America: The First Avenger". Loki uses the cube to get a hold of the Aliens (aka The Skrulls) to invade Earth and fight "The Avengers."

You may remember back in 2009, during the San Diego Comic Con, Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige stated, "In my opinion, The Skrulls are really the only viable threat that would require so many super heroes to fight as a team. Sure, you could have The Hulk as a villain in the beginning, but then they have to come together for an even bigger threat. Something hinted about in IM2, Thor and Cap by Nick Fury's presence. Plus Fox doesn't have the rights to The Skrulls, only the Super Skrull. But this is just my inner geek thinking out loud and hoping."

And though these extraterrestrial beings have been mentioned just as much as Loki and has yet to be debunked, I have many reasons to believe they WILL be in the film. And Loki is gonna be the "mastermind" behind everything, which may/may not include the film exploring him, but rather in sequels. So, that may ease worries of how much screen time may be saved. What do you think?

Anyhow, The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Clark Gregg, Jeremy Renner, Kevin Pennington, Cobie Smulders, and Tom Hiddleston assembling in theaters May 4, next year!
