Searching the pages of Deviant Art for the latest greatest submissions, I came across fairly impressive concepts illustrations with Marvel's cinematic The Avengers adaption in mind. After taking a second, third, and final look, I noticed that the several submissions are categorized "Game Development Art / Game Concepts & Illustrations / Storyline Illustrations", by the artist Chenzan.
Being that Deviant Art has had affiliation with legit developments, most notably with the now delayed-Thor game concepts, I reached out to Chenzan. Currently awaiting a response, check out his impressive work below.
Update: While still waiting for a response from the artist, whose real name is Kevin T. Chin, my buddy 'RealIronMan' of SpiderMedia has dug up some great creditability essentials. According to his official site (here), where you can also see his resume including video games such as Fantastic Four 2: Rise Of The Silver Surfer, it turns out that Kevin T. Chin is actually Production Illustrator. And though this doesn't confirm the following pieces as part of an Avengers game in development, now available in higher quality, it sure does become a greater possibility. What do you think?
Update #2: Debunking the pieces, Kevin tells me: "Thanks for the compliments. Sadly they are not a part of any of the current productions. I'd love to be a part of it though if they are making a game or working on pre-production for the films. Be great if they saw my work :P. I'm a huge comic geek and I do concept art for a living so I figured I'd create some sample images and illustrations for my portfolio inspired by those movies and games."
