Fresh off the debut of the first trailer for Batman: Hush, Warner Bros. has announced when the animated adaptation of Jeph Loeb and Jim Lee's acclaimed 2002 storyline will finally arrive on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and Digital.

Batman: Hush will release first on Digital on July 20 ($19.99) before arriving as a 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack ($39.99) and Blu-ray Combo Pack ($24.98) on August 13. The feature-length animated film will also become available on the DC Universe streaming service on August 13 as well.

Batman: Hush will come with "enhanced" bonus content, including DC Showcase: Sgt. Rock, an animated short featuring DC Comics' gritty World War II hero. Also included is the featurette Batman: Love in Time of War, a story short story that explores the relationship of Selina Kyle and the Caped Crusader. You'll also be able to hear audio commentary from Batman: Hush Executive Producer James Tucker, Director Justin Copeland and screenwriter Ernie Altbacker share their thoughts and insights on the film.

Batman: Hush is one of four animated original movies from DC Entertainment in 2019, following the release of Reign of the Supermen and Justice League vs. the Fatal Five. Following Batman: Hush will be the release of Wonder Woman: Bloodlines, a movie that will feature its own original storyline. While we don't know much about it, the home release of Batman: Hush will offer a first look at Wonder Woman: Bloodlines in the form of a sneak peek.

An adaptation of the seminal DC classic tale, Batman: Hush centers on a shadowy new villain known only as Hush, who uses Gotham’s Rogues Gallery to destroy Batman’s crime-fighting career, as well as Bruce Wayne’s personal life – which has already been complicated by a relationship with Selina Kyle, aka Catwoman.

Batman: Hush features a star-studded cast led by Jason O'Mara as the voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne. He's joined by Jennifer Morrison as Catwoman/Selina Kyle, Jerry O'Connell as Superman, Rebecca Romijn as Lois Lane, Rainn Wilson as Lex Luthor, Sean Maher as Nightwing, Bruce Thomas as Jim Gordon, Stuart Allan as Damian Wayne, and James Garrett as Alfred. Justin Copeland helmed the film with a script from Ernie Altbacker.

Damian Wayne is not in the Hush storyline at all. I like the character, but he adds nothing to the story.
