The next Dawn of DC comic, which will comprise of Bruce and Damien Wayne, will be arriving sometime in September, but fear not if you're raring to get a bit more insight into the new adventures, fans did get a little sneak peek before its street date. Under the name Batman and Robin, the new comic series will see the duo reuniting as hero and sidekick once again to investigate new mysterious cases and monsters across the iconic city of Gotham.
The news comes during MegaCon Orlando when DC shared a first look at the starting issue, featuring the cover image, exterior shots, gruesome surgery conducted on pigeons, and some design shots of the Robin Mobile.
Batman and Robin acts as the follow-up series to the recently finished Batman vs. Robin, which saw the two fighting against each other following the events of the Lazarus Pit.
The comic will be helmed by longtime DC writer Joshua Williamson, best known as the writer for The Flash, exclusive artist Simone Di Meo, who has worked on DC vs. Vampires and Batman: White Knight, will be in charge of the comic's art.
At this point, it isn't clear exactly when Batman and Robin #1 will go on sale, all we know right now is that it will be sometime in September of this year.
