While promoting his new film last night on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno," Cage was faced with a Batman-trivia quiz against Batman himself. No, not Christian Bale, Cage battled the wit of Adam West, the actor who played the beloved 1960s version of Batman.
During the interview segment with Leno, Cage mentioned that Batman particularly West's version of Batman -- was a huge influence on his "Kick-Ass" character, Big Daddy.
"I was channeling one of my favorite...well, personally, the best Batman, in my opinion Adam West." Cage added, "Adam West has these marvelous line deliveries and no one else can do it, and I was trying to get that in the movie."
He had the chance to challenge his hero when Cage and West or Big Daddy and Batman, if you prefer, went head-to-head on trivia questions that ranged from common knowledge to absurdly complicated.
