Nolans pick for BATMAN is....

Wes Bentley was maybe the only cool character in ghost rider 1, now Nolan wants him to wear the cape and cowl!!!

I know there are millions of rumors around on who the next batman will be, I saw this while doing some snooping and thought I'd add more names to that list. ENJOY!

According to “internet sources” Christopher Nolan has recommend American actor Wes Bentley to play Batman in the Man Of Steel sequel. The rumor comes as Warner Bros. get’s ready to announce who the next actor to pay The Dark Knight will be. Earlier reports suggest that Zack Snyder and company where looking for an older Batman. Although Bentley has a young look, movie make-up can definitely make him appear to be older.

Bentley has starred in films such as American Beauty and The Hunger Games. He is currently working with Nolan on Interstellar that is set to open in theaters on November 7, 2014.

Now these "internet sources" could be my mom on the couch yelling out names she saw on netflix but I still think Wes could make a pretty good Bruce Wayne. As far as being the Batman not to sure. From what I remember reading for the sequel of Man of Steel "they" want an older Batman. Which for my vote I would say John Hamm all the way! Of course this is my opinion!

WB/DC wouldn't be stupid enough to bring another Marvel actor into their movies.... They should have learned their lesson by now.

Visually, Wes could work, especially for Bruce.

If true, it's better than a lot of the other casting rumors...

He does look like a Bruce Wayne to me. I wont believe this until its either comfirmed or proven false.

BTW i wouldn't Consider him a "Marvel actor" since he was in ghost rider. Its not like hes committed to multiple sequels anyways. He was one and done in that movie.

I don't think this rumour is true, but I think he'd make a good Bruce Wayne. Going a little older, I think Jon Hamm would nail it.

Why is it that everyone believes that this "old batman" rumor is true. It makes absolutely NO sense if you think about it in regards to a future Batman franchise and a justice league movie. I'm not saying Batman's going to be 22 in this movie but he sure hell wont be 43. He'll be in his 30s like Cavil. All this talk about John Hamm and Josh Brolin, Jeffery Dean Morgan is all just BS (not that those guys are bad I just doubt they are even in the running). In regards to Bentley, out of all the names thrown around he might actually be my favorite and the one most likely to actually get the part.

Chris Nolan doesn't exactly have a great track record for casting Batmen.

john hamm said himself he doesnt want to be in a superhero movie thats for young stars so leave john hamm out of it people!! please

and getting a older batman is going against ZACK word
didnt zack say himself he wants some1 who had the same rep. as cavil did before he was cast as MOS??
ALSO didnt he or goyer say or in MOS didnt they say MOS was the first person and hopefully more ppl will come to light? meaning new heroes why an old bruce

zack would be going against his own word if he cast a old cat for bruce!

Yeah, I'd say the only people that have a better track record for casting Batman, are Bruce Timm and Andrea Romano...

like i said before:

There's no way Nolan would recommended Bentley.
He just started to work on Interstellar in Canada.
Not sure he even saw him acting.

(although he probably participated in his screen tests for Interstellar)

I would like to see Brolin speaking that Dark Knight Returns line. His voice would be kinda perfect..

"I want you...to remember, Clark... in all the years to come... in your most private moments... I want you to remember...my hand...at your throat... I want you to remember... the one man who beat you..."
