"Ugh. No, no, no, no. There's definitely a D minor in it. Absolutely. We've got some D minor going on. No, we are thinking hard about that one right now. That's going to be extraordinary. No, I'm not going to say. The one thing I can tell you is that it's going to be a lot more epic. Extraordinarily epic."

"I don't know, it's like, 'What's epic these days?' I think there's something in the core of the story that allows you to get the music much bigger and much more sort of, iconic."

The Dark Knight Rises is set to be released on July 20, 2012!

...Oh now I'm [frick]ing pumped. We've seen bits of a Batman theme in the previous movies. Let's hear a fully fledged theme. This is the reason why I don't think Bruce will die at the end of the movie. "The Dark Knight Rises"; this is Bruce's journey into fully becoming Batman!

He created some of the best music of all time with the soundtrack to Gladiator. If he tells us that it will be epic, we had better believe him.

I still feel that there is one more villain they need to add like perhaps a Black Mask, Killer Croc or even someone playing this guy:

why do people think this movie will suck? I mean seriously its christopher nolan, the worst movie he has ever made was insomnia and that film was still amazing. obviously it wont be as good as TDK cause that film was just mind blowing on how good it was, but you can defiantly count on it being better than Batman begins (not that batman begins was a bad film or anything)

hatrick3 - 2/15/2011, 3:50 PM
Begins was actually the better of the two films by Nolan. I hope there will be more of Bats using the grappling gun and swinging round in Rises. Not a single instance of that TDK. Ropes and a cave!

Dont get me wrong, love the Danny Elfman theme & I will always have fond memories of it but the Zimmer one is so much more badass and just reminds me of Batman so much more

Oh my gosh!!! When Hans Zimmer says the word 'epic', you better ask how epic it will be, and then he always responds back with SOMETHING BEYOND YOUR IMAGINATION!!!!!!!! Absolutely adored the first two movies, and Zimmer's score was a great attribute to both films. CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

@ grif AND grifdeadpoolteabag: TROLL MUCH??!! ...you j@cka$$e$ need to get a life!! you post the same thing everywhere

ANYWAY...Zimmer will bring it..it will be life-changing...

i agree that this will be Bruce becoming full-out batman--we'll get to see his darker/sleeker scary side and his detective side more. Batman will come full circle.

heres hoping for Talia Al Ghul

The music in Gladiator near the beginning where Russel Crow is in the woods fighting is very similar to the Pirates of The Caribbean theme...
