Bryan Cranston Talks Lex Luthor In BATMAN VS SUPERMAN
The fan favourite for Superman's bald headed bad guy has broken his silence on the role! Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston has revealed his views on playing the iconic villain and how close he was to the role. Hit the jump to check it out!
Bryan Cranston, the man seen by most fans as THE man to play Lex Luthor on screen, has finally spoken about the role. In an interview this morning on The Howard Stern Show the Breaking Bad star revealed that while he would have loved to play the villain, he was never asked to do so.
When asked about the rumours he had this to say:
In the minds of fans, it's true, in the minds of the hierarchy of Warner Brothers, it's not true. I was not involved in any of that whatsoever.
When asked about how the role would have effected his career, he described it as, "a twenty, it's a life changing role", one that he'd have loved to take on.
Thanks to CBM's Brainiac3000 for the source! What do you think? Should Warner Bros. have offered Cranston the role? Or was Jesse Eisenberg the right choice? Sign off your thoughts on the news below!
