Today was pretty exciting if you have interest in Zack Snyder's upcoming indie film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Filming at the Corktown, Detroit set commenced and we got our first look at Ben Affleck looking all spiffy as everyone's favorite billionaire, 'Bruce Wayne.'

Now, Devin from badassdigest.com has a new scoop regarding the Caped Crusader and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot). Devin reports:
"My sources indicate that when BvS opens Batman has existed for close to thirty years, which would place Wayne in his 50s (which is why I expected more grey in Affleck's hair). In this version Batman is still an urban legend, a creature of the night, and no one has ever taken his picture. But he's had plenty of adventures, and the Batcave includes a memorial centered around a tattered Robin costume."

And how will Ben Affleck's Batman differ from Bale's previous version? He goes on to say, "He's a quieter operator, not involved in blockbuster battles but in all sorts of badass vigilantism."

That's not all! Sources have also told Devin, "Wonder Woman has also been in operation for some time before Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice begins, and her activities have been just as secretive as Batman's."

BATMAN v SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE - Zack Snyder will direct. It's written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. The film stars: Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent and Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The cast also includes: Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Ma Kent, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg and Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. Will arrive in theaters May 6, 2016.

"Batman is still an urban legend, a creature of the night, and no one has ever taken his picture" THIS !!! Great idea.
Introducing a veteran batman, while still being an urban legend is going to be a lot of fun.

So he's an urban legend that has been around for 30 years and there is also a Robin?……wow

I'd go on ranting about Faraci and BadAssDigest (as per usual), but I don't even think I have to for this one.

The scoop speaks for itself really.

I mean, he's going to be a 30 year old urban legend? Despite being battle tested? Even with the Bat Signal?

And I can't be the only one to think it's funny that as soon as we get a pic that shows Affleck with a tinch of grey in his hair he's automatically 50 years of age at least and he's been Batman for 30.

Urban Legend is probably the wrong choice of words if this is true. If so I would assume people know he exists but he is just elusive and never been photographed

Damn, just thinking about it, there are hardships to being an editor. You get spoiled often about almost every film you post news on. And an older Batman, eh? I'm guessing some of his solo films will be prequels. Nice find, nail.

30 years is too much. 10 or 15 would be enough.

My sources also indicate that MrBlackJack is in fact playing Doomsday, who will appear in the 3rd act of the movie for a tap dancing competition with Superman. This is all from VERY reliable sources.

I really hope we get a Batman with the experience of an Arkham City type of vigilante. None of this Kingdom Come bullsh*t.

This rumor is most likely fake, anyway.

Well this is interesting. I like the idea that Jason is dead. This way hopefully Tim is now the new Robin. Going by the name Red Robin. As for Wonder Woman do tell more.
