By now nobody is a stranger to the images put online by Zack Snyder to hype up that little movie titled Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.  In the off chance you did forget what they were, lets take a look at them again down below.

Henry Cavill as Superman

When this dropped it gave us our first glimpse at the slightly updated look of Kal's Kryptonian garb for the movie. Also giving us a look at what Gotham will probably look like.

The new Batman.

Obviously a totally new, totally awesome look at our new Dark Knight to be played by Ben Affleck. Fresh on screen, a costume look very new to the movies, with a sweet ride to boot.

Gal Gadot, Wonder Woman.

Perhaps one of the more important images to release. Our first look at a cinematic Wonder Woman. Causing Comic Con 2014's Hall H to explode, we get a first look at how the most iconic female super hero will look. Taking inspiration from many iterations of the character, Gal put in a lot of work, and continues to, than from when she was first announced.

Our King of Atlantis, Aquaman, Jason Mamoa.

One of the bigger surprises to see, as Mamoa has confirmed that his role is merley a cameo for this movie, Zack dropped this A-bomb on an unsuspecting population in the middle of the night. Having taken obvious inspiration from Peter Davids Aquaman, we get a powerful impression. We can all hope this version will be portrayed with equal amounts of diplomacy, royalty, and bad-assery.

Now, what is the point of all of this? These images of the characters, while praised by the majority, can still not obviously appease everyone. For multiple reasons, personal or otherwise.  Issues ranging from, hair, to color, to tone, or over all costume. Some of these will never be right in the eyes of some.....but there is a very major thing to remember here: These are not official character posters by the marketing team.

It seems like an impossible thing for some people to grasp that all of these photos are simply taken by Zack Snyder himself, or his photographer Clay Enos. A major thing people having issues with, the color and tone. Each of these photos is vastly different in all of that. A major claim that "the color is sucked out of the movie." When we have seen nothing OFFICIAL of the movie. No teaser, no trailer, no movie. Rest assured, I promise you Ben Affleck is not a gray skinned zombie, Gal Gadot does not have a sepia spotlight to follow her around at all times, and Jason Mamoa......do people honestly think he is anywhere close to that skin color? These images were created by Zack as a tease. They are stylized images, that are no different than these that Zack released:

I guess what I am trying to say is, don't jump the gun to those that are worried. Be patient and what for a trailer or something from the offical marketing of the movie before declaring what this movie is, when we know nothing. There is a kickass writer Chris Terrio, Watchmen Cinematographer Larry Fong has returned, and Zack is very passionate about what he is giving us. The talent is there, the story is there, let's be more optimistic about this movie instead of attempting to tear it down over a filtered picture taken on a personal camera.

Whilst I appreciate the general sentiment of this article - "don't judge it until we've actually seen it", I am not sure the logic you have used in getting their entirely adds up.

Firstly, the fact that they are not official character posters made by the marketing team surely means they will be MORE indicative of the movie's look, not less. The companies who make the marketing posters for films generally know very little about the movie it's for, they just get a bundle of photos and some general direction on tone etc from the studio and then get on with it. The Director by comparison knows exactly how the the movie is going to look and feel, so it would be odd for him to release photos which aren't indicative of his vision.

Secondly, these aren't "simply photos" taken by Zack Snyder - they are photos which have been composited with backgrounds and heavily processed to convey a particular look, feel and tone that the Director has specifically chosen to represent his movie.

Like i said though, i appreciate the sentiment - don't be too quick to judge the movie until we've seen some actual footage from it.

@528491 I think specifically of the filter. Im certain one part of the film wont be black and white, another sepia, and another gray. I just think those were creative decisions by Zack.

Whatever, it'll be the same tones as MOS. Which I'm not gonna say they sucked, but you know what people thought of them.
