Trailer Battle: BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ v STAR WARS: TFA v ANT-MAN

Trailer Battle: BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DOJ v STAR WARS: TFA v ANT-MAN

Some BIG trailers came our way recently, and though our first look at Zack Snyder's follow up to Man Of Steel was really just a teaser, we thought it strong enough to go up against the second trailers for Ant-Man and The Force Awakens. Which did you like best?

For our last trailer battle we asked you guys to choose between the second Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer, our first look at Fantastic Four, and the first Ant-Man teaser. Joss Whedon's superhero team-up sequel mopped the floor with the others, with Ant-Man coming last. Will the full trailer for the Marvel flick fare better? It has some pretty big competition -- though would I be right in saying our first official glimpse of Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice left a lot of you a bit underwhelmed? Vote below, and then be sure to share your thoughts in the usual place.

All good but I have to go with "Star Wars."

I had to vote for Star Wars. There's literally nothing to complain about there, while I can certainly find some stuff to nitpick with both BvS and Ant-Man.

Either way, poor Ant-Man. I have a strong feeling it's going to come in last once again haha.

Star Wars had the best trailer... giving away just enough to be satisfying while keeping things suspenseful.

Ant-Man's trailer was satisfactory, it did its job at giving away quite a bit of action scenes, comedy and information about the story. Considering the movie is only a month or two away it did its job. Obviously not in the same league as the others.

Batman Vs Superman only showed what most fans had already seen and while that does keep things suspensful it left many feeling underwhelmed as per the article and comments prior. Its the only one of the trailers that i felt was a little disappointing.

BvS and Star Wars are neck and neck for me. Ant-Man was also good.

@PaKentWasRight is right here. A better comparison is the first TFA trailer and this BvS one. Ant-Man vs TFA is honestly a better matchup, as they both are the second trailers.

Yes, i understand Batman Vs Superman was a teaser trailer, but technically it already had a teaser trailer prior shown at Comic Con and that was virtually the same footage. As such it should really be considered the second teaser trailer we've seen for Batman Vs Superman.

How many people saw the Comic-Con one?
How many saw it not in potato quality?

Seriously dude keep your bias under control.

LOL who gives a flying [frick] about Ant-Man when you got Star Wars in one corner and Batman/Superman in other?

I'm gonna go with a tie at both Batman/Superman and Star Wars.

i had to sit here for 3 minutes trying to figure out what tfa stood for. thats not good.

sadly out of the 3 i am most excited for antman.... with the other 2 the batwing looked cool flying over and blowing stuff up and the space shot of the fighters going towards the star destroyer was dope. but those are 2 small scenes. and i am really not that excited for antman anyway. going to wait for the bluray.

"Star Wars fans are creating too much hype for that movie, in the end they will be disappointed."

The same could be said for Batman Vs Superman, the hype is too high that fans will not be satisfied. Even if the movie is amazing, it wont be as good as the hype. People expect a great fight between the two, instead its going to be interupted or fans will rage depending on which of the two wins and how.

As for Ant-Man, nobody really expected much after Edgar Wright's departure, so expectations were already low. As such people will go into it with low expectations and come out with an average or good film.

The fact that Ant-Man is even in the same poll as Batman v Superman and Star Wars is a huge accomplishment though, haha
