Zack Snyder Confirms MAN OF STEEL 2 Is On The Way (And It's Called BATMAN v SUPERMAN)
There's been a lot of talk about a Man of Steel sequel lately, with some claiming that a follow-up to the 2013 movie simply isn't on the cards as of right now. Well, that might have something to do with the fact that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just that...
Another interview with Zack Snyder has surfaced, and he's dropped some very interesting details about the Man of Steel sequel, namely that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is pretty much intended to be that. That makes sense considering the fact that most of Superman's supporting cast will be appearing, but it sounds like a follow-up starring the character is definitely on the cards.
"I think in a way Batman v Superman is Man of Steel 2," the filmmaker tells Canoe. "Justice League is kind of the transcendent, knights-of-the-round-table of the story. It’d be interesting to think about what a standalone Superman movie might be."
Talking of the two-part Justice League movie that Snyder will direct, he added the following about the challenges involved with that: "We really have to figure out the why of them. And I think that we have. That’s the one thing that’s cool to me about Batman v Superman, it’s all about the mythology of these two massive icons. And I think that’s compelling."
What do you guys think about these comments from the director?
