Thanks to some lucky New York residents in Times Square while filming was taking place, we now have some fairly solid details of what exactly was going on. Here's a brief rundown from the general chatter on Twitter coming mainly from @SaFiRu7 who was kind enough to keep us all updated as to what exactly was happenning.
-Chris Evans and Samuel L. Jackson were filming a scene together.
-Chris Evans was not in costume as Captain America.
-Today was apparently the final day of filming for Captain America: The First Avenger.
-It would appear that the scene was set in the present day, not the 1940s.
