Artist Paolo Rivera has done a number of stunning cast and crew posters for Marvel Studios over the years. We recently saw the one he did for Captain America: The Winter Soldier
but on his blog, he has two different, early composition pieces that he almost pulled the trigger on instead.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier's Nick Fury says he's game for more Frozone should Brad Bird come calling. Recently, Disney chief Bob Iger revealed that a sequel to The Incredibles is FINALLY in development. When asked about his involvement,
Samuel L. Jackson told Digital Spy:
"Every time I run into Brad [Bird, director] he always tells me Frozone is part of what's going on, so I have to believe that. I guess they could be the Incredibles without Frozone, but I think Frozone would be a wonderful addition to what's already there. I'm just looking forward to seeing what Jack-Jack turned into."
Aren't we all?
We have movement on The Walking Dead spinoff, folks! AMC announced that Dave Erickson will be the showrunner on the network's TWD companion series. Erickson will co-write, executive produce and guide overall development on the mysterious project. Erickson last worked on Low Winter Son for AMC, which had a less than stellar reception and very low ratings. However, prior to that, Erickson wrote a smattering of excellent episodes for FX's Sons of Anarchy so he's obvioulsy a talented writer. It was initially announced that the companion series would launch January 2015 but key TWD personnel have since debunked that notion, stating that they'll be taking their time on the concept to ensure it's a proper addition to The Walking Dead franchise.
