Ed Brubaker, the current writer of the Captain America comic book, has talked on his Twitter account (brubaker) about the possibility of Chris Evans being the actor who'll weild the shield in The First Avenger: Captain America! Although he doesnt confirm the news, his reaction is most definitely a positive one while he seems to feel the same way that most of us do when it comes to the Fantastic Four movie!

Here are his most recent "Tweets" on the subject:

If Chris Evans actually has the role, I'm good with that. He was easily the best thing in the FF movies and he's been amazing in some others

Like I said, though, I wasn't a consultant and I have NO IDEA if he's actually got the gig or not.

Favreau would know. I don't.

It's honestly hard to remember much of the FF movie past them ruining Doctor Doom

trust the guys at Marvel studios to know this stuff. They've cast well so far in their movies

The First Avenger: Captain America is set to be released on July 22, 2011 and is directed by Joe Johnston.
