Filming for Marvel's much anticipated
Captain America: The First Avenger has been taking place a little over a month now in London. And while a few
set images & footage have already emerged online, today background extras were spotted at Trafalgar Square.
Apparently the extras were dressed in period clothing as the scene filmed was set on May 8th, 1945 in London, England. Which is
Victory in Europe Day, the day when the WWII Allies formally accepted the surrender of the armed forces of Nazi Germany, which basically was the end of the war. Click the image below to get the full resolution.
In other news, Steve Rogers himself (Chris Evans) was spotted clubbing in London last night, which you can check out numerous images
HERE. And starring alongside Evans, Hugo Weaving (Red Skull), Tommy Lee Jones (Gen. Chester Philips), Sebastian Stan (Bucky), Stanley Tucci (Abraham Erskine), Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Toby Jones (Arnim Zola), Dominic Cooper (Howard Stark), Neal McDonough (Dum Dum Dugan), and Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), in Joe Johnston direction.
