Filming over in England for one of Marvel Studios' much anticipated films,
Captain America: The First Avenger is well underway. And while the production progress in UK cities Manchester & Liverpool are well known , the crew are prepping for shooting in Caerwent, South Wales.
And the folks over at
Marvel Movie News, has learned from their verified sources, that the sequence being filmed will be set in a camp for prisoners of war; POW camp, and will cover a ‘huge area’ of the base’s grounds. In addition to that, MMN says filming will involve rooftops, searchlights, gunfire and ‘major pyro’, which apparently will include a large stunt set-piece.
Filming in Manchester wrapped on schedule yesterday, so the production’s focus is now in Liverpool, where some filming has already taken place. And filming dates for Caerwent, will include nightshoots on the 25th, 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th of this month, proceeding on the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd in November.
