Besides the Dane Cook, Now, according to Hollywire, 2 of Disney's Jonas brothers have read for a part in Captain America.

According to Hollywire sources, casting has just begun for the newest Marvel film, Captain America. And if teen girls are to make the final decision then they will be happy to hear Joe Jonas and Kevin Jonas have already read lines for the upcoming film and are in contention for both Captain America and other characters in the film.

It was said Kevin Jonas had the better audition and was more natural. Its also been stated more casting still needs to take place before any decisions are made. But its interesting to see what direction the highly potential hit film is taking.

Marvel has contacted Gossip Cop, and addressed the rumor, and should make everyone happy.

A Marvel source laughed off the Jonas rumor and told Gossip Cop it was “not true.”

wow if this is real then this does make the Krasinski rumor look a whole lot better. But this does sound like BS. Somebody is trying to piss off fans even more. Plus none of the Jonas' can act. Believe me I've been forced to watch their show with my tween sister, and I'm a better actor then they are. I mean they are really bad.

[frick] this. Like InstigatorGIRL, I've lost interest in this movie. Between the fairly dodgy sounding plot, the ridiculous amount of time its taking to cast the lead role (and the awful suggestions made for it) as well as shitty rumours like this I no longer want to see this movie.

I should have guessed this would happen when they hired the idiot who made such movies as Jurassic Park 3, The Wolfman and Jumanji. God help Captain America.

Marvel never said they would announce who was playing Cap by the end of February, all they said was that they had to cast him by the end of February. For all we know they already have someone picked and trying out costumes.

Rumor starters these days..they just are becoming less and less creative. I news for ya: Ryan Mcpartlin's character will be leaving the show which makes Ryan free during the summer. So there still is a small chance he could be playing cap. I heard this is actually true.
