PUNISHER: WAR ZONE Director Says She'd Helm A MS. MARVEL Movie... For Free

Not the Captain Marvel movie that's in the works now, but a big screen outing for the current comic incarnation of Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan. Lexi Alexander likes the idea so much that she claims she'd even be willing to forego her fee!

Despite Punisher Warzone not going down very well with critics, the movie does have a loyal fan following, and many have wondered if its director, Lexi Alexander, would ever give any other comic book property a bash. She is set to helm an episode of the upcoming fourth season of Arrow, but it seems it's a Marvel character Alexander is most interested in.

During a conversation of Twitter about whether she thinks Ronda Rousey would make a good Captain Marvel or not, the Green Street director brought up the current Ms. Marvel Kamala Khan, and stated that she'd forego her director's fee for chance to make a movie about her.

Obviously with Carol Danvers set to grace the big screen in 2018 with Captain Marvel, it's unlikely Marvel Studios will be looking to tell Kamala's story any time soon - but then again, Kevin Feige has promised that there are plans to give more female characters the spotlight, so you never know. Do you think Alexander would do this character justice? Sound off below.
