I love following her on Twitter, and getting to know her ideals and perception, she'd give the character a great service to that broader audience.
NELLOGISTICS - 8/12/2015, 6:47 PM
@ThePowerCosmic Yup, because there's only one Captain Marvel:

GizmoEl - 8/12/2015, 6:47 PM
Kamala's Ms. Marvel is honestly the best thing Marvel has done in a long long time. I'd be the first in line to see a movie adaptation of a Ms. Marvel movie.
MrSnrub - 8/12/2015, 6:48 PM
@ThePowerCosmic

Kamala Khan is infinetly more interesting than the bland ass Carol Corps.
staypuffed - 8/12/2015, 6:50 PM
Already with the dumb comments.
grif - 8/12/2015, 6:51 PM
she makes a big hit marvel movie and gets more work later on
LEVITIKUZ - 8/12/2015, 6:52 PM
C'mon Marvel, when we gonna get an Amish Black Panther?

We got a black Spidey, Muslim Ms Marvel, black Cap, female Thor, female Wolverine, soon an Asian Hulk.

Marvel hates the Amish confirmed.
GetsugaTensho22 - 8/12/2015, 6:53 PM
I like to point people in the direction of Green Lantern, whenever they start throwing hissy fits about characters passing down mantles.
Guy Gardener had his own series as Warrior. John Stewart starred in GL:Mosaic, with enough powers to no longer be considered a standard GL. NONE of these series were particularly good or lasted very long. Nobody gave a shit about them until and unless they were part of the core GL mythology.
Even today, Guy's series as a Red Lantern, John as part of the GLC and Kyle as a White Lantern are successful because they are still tied heavily into the Lantern banner.

My point is, characters like Kamala Khan have been proven to fail when they are "their own thing" and there's really nothing wrong with having her as part of the core Ms.Marvel mythology.

You can dislike how some people take Political Correctness too far, but at the end of the day, it's the best way to move ahead.
gamecreatorjj - 8/12/2015, 6:53 PM
I don't know why Carol had to be "promoted" to Captain Marvel. It seems kinda backwards that in order for to get the same respect, you have tot take the feminine form out of her name. It's like covering up Wonder Woman, it's psuedo-progressive. It's just changing something superficial and it ends up seeming more sexist than it was before.

I understand the idea that it put Carol too much in Captain Marvel's shadow, but tbh, she has way more popular as Ms Marvel than Mar-Vell (or Genis-Vell or Noa-Varr) ever was.

Like if Marvel wants to make Carol their go to female empowerment character, then isn't it important to show that being MS Marvel isn't anything to be ashamed of? That you don't need a more masculine title to be worth a damn?
GetsugaTensho22 - 8/12/2015, 6:54 PM
One fair point i'm willing to admit to though, is execution.
Female Thor and Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider were HORRIBLY executed and written terribly. But did they need to happen? Absolutely.
FrozenDiamondz - 8/12/2015, 6:57 PM
Nobody willing to pay for her services so she's offering to work for free lmao
Mrsinister - 8/12/2015, 6:59 PM
I cant stand Ms. Marvel
digymastr - 8/12/2015, 7:00 PM
Well I don't know about you guys but I LOVE Kamala so any sort of representation of her in live action would be cool. Also, to those people thinking Kamala would "erase" Danver as Ms. Marvel, Marvel isn't going to bust into your house and take away your old school Ms.Marvel and Captain Marvel comics. So just calm down and enjoy some good comic stories.
ATrueHero1987 - 8/12/2015, 7:02 PM
I've been wanting to check out Ms. Marvel(Carol Danvers) first series that started back in the 70s. I hope Marvel will one day release TPB or an Omnibus for that series(which I have a feeling they will)
OpticBlastWins - 8/12/2015, 7:04 PM
Ill pay you 5 bucks to let me stand in a corner somewhere in any movie. I think its a good deal
l0rdleg0las - 8/12/2015, 7:09 PM
Nope. There is only 1 Marvel I want to see and that is Carol.
rorywilliams - 8/12/2015, 7:09 PM
I'd take the complaints about Carol not being Ms. Marvel in the mcu if Kamala Khan's series wasn't the best thing Marvel has done in years.

YEARS.

War zone is a fun wild romp that gets too much hate
MisterSuperior - 8/12/2015, 7:19 PM
After directing an episode of Arrow, I don't think Marvel fans would want her on a Marvel film again, lol.
WinterOstritch - 8/12/2015, 7:27 PM
I've called Carol by her Captain Marvel name for one reason: I had no interest or knowledge of her character prior to Captain Marvel. After she got promoted and her own title however, I got interested and wanted to know more. Long story short, Carol is in my top 15.

And in the same instance as Carol, I'm growing up with Kamala as Ms. Marvel
TheEpicJuicebox - 8/12/2015, 7:28 PM
I don't want a ms marvel movie, if anything she should be a sidekick
MrSnrub - 8/12/2015, 7:28 PM

Some of these comment are just completely phucktarded. Kamala Khan isn't a pc character, she is just a good character who happened to take Carol's discarded name. I for one actually like how Carol evolved from Mrs.Marvel to Captain Marvel. I thought it was a creative character progression.

This comment in particular is pure stupidity and ignorance:

"Why just because it's a different race character? In no way does Kamala Khan have nearly as rich of a history or interesting a story as Carol Danvers.

This PC agenda stuff is getting out of control.

If it was a better character I'd be all for Kamala Khan. But she isn't nearly as interesting as Danvers. "

We're getting a Carol Danvers movie so why are you mad?
freebirdink843 - 8/12/2015, 7:31 PM
@comicbornandbred...I have to agree. I actually liked warzone. Very gory, west was a great jigsaw, think the guy playing punisher was pretty good too. Best scene is when he bleww dudes head off with the shottie at the dinner table. Very realistic.
LEOSTRATOR - 8/12/2015, 7:33 PM
It's strange how people rage over books and characters they don't read or is forced to read. I bet you guys would rage regardless what they identify Kamala Khan as, cause she doesn't fit your demographic.

I recall a time when plenty raged about the Mighty Avengers, that mostly consist of original minorities with their own mantle. Yep, you guys cried PC bull$hit when it was announced. For what reason you guys wigged out leave me complexed since all the characters had existed in the Marvel universe for years.
