POLL: How Would You Rate THE MARVELS Following Its Release In Theaters This Weekend?

The Marvels isn't going to break any box office records this weekend, but that doesn't mean it won't still be a hit in the eyes of some. After all, the MCU has a huge fanbase, and despite talk of "superhero fatigue" and problems within Marvel Studios, the buzz surrounding the Captain Marvel sequel has been largely positive.

Early social media reactions were good and that's since translated into a "Fresh" 61% score on the Tomatometer (at least as we write this).

While The Marvels is unlikely to go down as a classic in the same vein as Avengers: Endgame and Black Panther, there's a lot to appreciate about it. However, at the same time, it's easy enough to understand why some fans have walked away dissatisfied, especially when it boasts such an underwhelming villain.

The cast helps it soar, but at the same time, not even a post-credits scene with a game-changing cameo will be enough for some people to look past the flaws of a movie which occasionally feels like it was gutted in the editing room. With all that in mind, we're sure you'll agree that it's a hard movie to rate!

"Proof that a 90-minute blockbuster can soar," we said in our review, "The Marvels is bolstered by three terrific leads and might just be the most fun you’ll have at the theater this year, even if it’s not necessarily destined to be remembered as a mighty Marvel classic."

That's our take, but it's now time for you to share yours. In the poll below, you can cast your vote by choosing a star rating for the latest Marvel Studios movie. All we ask is that you answer honestly because review-bombing...well, that's a pretty sad thing to do, right?

In The Marvels, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as "The Marvels."

The movie stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton and Park Seo-joon.

The Marvels is set to arrive in theaters on November 10.
