Unless you've been hiding under a rock, you should know that "The biggest fanboy convention of all time" has wrapped up and lots of news came out that we have been foaming at the mouth. The biggest surprise this year was the assembling of The Avengers for the first time. As iconic as this was, I can't help but seem to be outraged. Why? Several reasons mostly due in part by the lack of real information given to us by DC. Look, we know you guys have drastically changed your entertainment division by giving YOUR super guru a job. I am in fact speaking about Geoff Johns. This guy alone gives me faith that we could very well see the Justice League on screen. That is until I hit a realization..... WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY DOING ABOUT IT? So far we have "Green Lantern," thankfully, which could very well be going in a very similar manner as "Iron Man" did. At least one can hope. But I am not satisfied. Specifically due to the fact that DC has such a rich history in their company with all their characters. These are icons we grew up wanting to be. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, hell even The Flash had his own show. Why is it they can transition into a hit show, but not a comic book movie. Only Batman has seemed to do this and Nolan wants to stick with his own world for some reason. Which leaves me to wonder if he should be the one in charge of production for the new Man of Steel movie. I know this was a bit of a tangent and I am by no means a "Marvel Hater," but if they can: Why can't DC do something just as magical?
This is the first time I've written so be gentle.
