In Young Justice, being a teenager means proving yourself over and over - to peers, parents, teachers, mentors and, ultimately, to yourself. But what if you're not just a normal teenager? What if you're a teenage super hero? Are you ready to join the ranks of the great heroes and prove you're worthy of the Justice League? That's exactly what the members of Young Justice - Robin, Aqualad, Kid Flash, Superboy, Miss Martian and Artemis - will find out, whether they have what it takes to be a proven hero.

Premiering on November 26 at 7 PM Eastern, Young Justice will begin with a one-hour adventure.

I'm so looking forward to this series, it looks great! IMO, this totally trumps that new Avengers cartoon (they dropped the ball with that one). It's great that DC is stepping up recognizing other, younger heroes, and they still get to incorporate the JLA in the episodes, very smart move.

The art direction and animation is so high quality and sharp for a cartoon these days. The only cartoon Marvel had like this was Wolverine and the X-Men and that was very disappointingly canceled. Love love love the Justice League inclusion.

Very nice, great looking animation I just hope the story telling is up to par. I like this style much more than the usual.

I so want to hate this for not following the source but goddamn it just looks too AWESOME!!!! :))

I'd love to know when Arrowette uh... i mean, Artemis gets introduced. I have no clue why they showed us Speedy instead. But i gotta say FINALY an aquatic hero WORTH A DAMN!!! At first i was pissed that they invented him for the show, which really seemed like a token black role, but i'll be damned if he ain't more awesome than Aquaman AND Namor put together! My only pet peeve so far is Miss Martian being Secret's replacement. Secret was such a great character in the books and aside from Aquaman, Martian Manhunter was my least favorite leaguer so a younger female version really doesn't blow my skirt up especially when it means that because of that character, we'll be missing out on Secret. But this show looks like DC's best ever animated works so far!!! CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT :))

It's great to see DC move away from the BTAS and STAS style animation. Although it was brilliant for its time it's great to finally see art look like the comic books brought to life in animation. I can't wait for this. So far Avengers has been good but I think Young Justice is going to be better. IMO!!!

The Green Lantern Trailer (vs.Thor's trailer) The Return of Black Adam trailer (with better looking animation than any of the present Marvel projects) and now Young Justice- let's see how this piles up against the Avengers series- oooooohhhhhh can u stand it!!!????

ThaMessenger07 - 11/17/2010, 11:58 AM
@ AlReg: I'm pretty sure that is Tim Drake and not Dick. They have not confirmed yet either. So it's unknown.....
redrobin56
redrobin56 - 11/17/2010, 12:17 PM
@thamessaenger they already confirmed that Robin is dick, Kid Flash is Wally,Superboy obviously Conner, Aqualad is Kaldur'ahm, Miss Martian is M’Gann, the only person who they haven't reveal yet is Artemis.
ThaMessenger07
ThaMessenger07 - 11/17/2010, 12:29 PM
@ redrobin: That makes absolutely no sense.......Especially since they made Flash seem like he was Wally.....
Treyert
Treyert - 11/17/2010, 12:36 PM
I like how they mix up the continuity in this -- is it wrong to hope they introduce Kyle Rayner as a Teen Green Lantern -- despite the fact that Aqualad looks to have the exact same powers?
BIGBMH
BIGBMH - 11/17/2010, 12:36 PM
I tend to lean Marvel, but I gotta say I like this animation style a lot more than the Avengerse show. The action and everything looks really good. This could turn out to be the better of the two. Aslo, please let this be the start of a new DCAU. The old one was awesome, but it seems like they will never go back to it.
ThaMessenger07
ThaMessenger07 - 11/17/2010, 12:48 PM
@ Anil: They are using them because they represent an Early era in DC. The creators want this to seem like it's the Early years of Super Heroics in the DCU.

My problem is though Dick grows to be one of my top 3 heroes as Nightwing and Batman, I love Tim as Robin and was hoping to see him for a change, since we have only had one series with him as Robin. Also they made Barry seem like Wally and Wally seem like Bart in that clip. I'm gonna love the show but these factors are gonna piss me the hell off.

Talontd - 11/17/2010, 12:51 PM
Hahaha

You guys keep going back and forth! So who is it, Tim Drake or Dick Grayson???
xmentheeight
xmentheeight - 11/17/2010, 12:54 PM
Let me end the argument....Robin is Dick Grayson. For clarification check the Young Justice preview on YouTube, where the creators explain the timeline and the identity of Robin as Dick Grayson and not Drake. Wally is Kid Flash....yeah Flash makes one or two quips but its Barry Allen in the Mentor role.
Shaman
Shaman - 11/17/2010, 12:55 PM
But isn't this a direct sequel to the Crisis On Two Earths film??? If so, wasn't it Wally as The Flash in that film???
dadarkknight
dadarkknight - 11/17/2010, 12:55 PM
@ AlReg
That is Dick Grayson as Robin and Wally as Kid Flash. It was said by the producer of the show. The charcters are not based on Earth 1 but a new Earth.

redrobin56
redrobin56 - 11/17/2010, 1:05 PM
This not a sequel to crisis on two earth. This is its own thing. This is set on its own earth in the dc universe so the current comics is set on earth 0 this earth 16 so its different universe so things are going to be different. Since producers want to start the universe from scratch and want to use teen heroes it would make sense to go with Dick and Wally.
ThaMessenger07
ThaMessenger07 - 11/17/2010, 1:06 PM
@ xmentheeight: Yeah I see that and it makes no sense.....

@ Shaman I Don't think it is a direct sequel they just have the same animators and artist.

It is said to be on Earth 16 which is weird cause Earth 16 is the dumbest of them all with the stupid Super Sons lol
