Many thanks to Newsarama for the following quotes and images!

Daredevil? Writer Mark Waid, and artists Paolo Rivera and Marcos Martin.

Waid joins the panel.

Waid said there's pressure, since Daredevil has been a "consistently well-written book" for the last decade.

"We want to keep the noir, we want to keep it gritty, we want to keep it street-level, Waid said. "But maybe not every issue has to end with me wanting to have a stiff drink."

"The question is, can we move the dial just a little bit up on the superhero scale, just a tiny bit, and get back to more of the swashbuckler adventurer for Matt," Waid said.

"Those guys are phenomenal," Waid said of Rivera and Martin.

Waid says the book will be "reinventing what the world looks like" through Daredevil's eyes.

The Punisher team is: writer Greg Rucka and artist Marco Checchetto.

So the rumors are confirmed. I hope Mark Waid doesnt screw the pooch on DD. Dialing up the superhero scale has me worried.

Rucka seemed he wanted to concentrate on his own material and that superhero comics were stressing him out. This is odd.

I have to dissagree with you on that Bizzaro, because the oly who deserves the roles is: Ben Aflleck! Now if your doiing the 1930's version "Noir" Daredevil, then that's okay. Or, if you're doing the orginal concept version of Daredevil, before Matt obtained the crimson red, the yellow and red would be good for unknwon actor.

But along the side of that, you would still need :The right story, the right actor and so on.

swashbuckler adventurer? reminds me of Karl Kesel's run. that wasn't that bad at all. maybe they could get Kevin Smith back onboard

If they wanted to keep the gritty, noir, street-level type of Punisher, they would've simply left him as he was.

Cut into numerous pieces by Daken. And dead.

The Daredevil artist is clearly doing his best Frank Miller impression. Not a bad one at that.

This is why I like Marvel, they keep giving the B-list characters a chance to upgrade to A-list.

I like the Punisher art. Are they going to explain why the logo was whitewashed on there by Tom Sawyer?

Hey @Coon- Dare Devil and the Punisher are not B-list. These are two of the most known, most popular characters in the comic world. the fact that they have appeared in movies way back in the 80`s confirms this.
