The Illuminati series was great - great dynamic between the characters. I'm a little out of touch now... where's the Cloak of Levitation?

@Levitikus: Yeah, of course [we] know about them. The devils behind the one-eyed watcher.

Comics' subliminal messaging is more uncanny than it is in music. I mean... Talk about reverse-psychological programming. Eh. No more comics for me. Scarlet Spidey and it's a wrap.

Good one.

Never knew Tony has three doctorates instead of two, probably in Physics, Electrical Engineering, and now on Computer Science.

Isn't anyone else sick to death of the REAL Tony Stark from the 616 now being reduced to nothing more than a Robert Downey Jr knockoff with his flippant jokes every other sentence? My god he's not Spider-Man for Christ sake. Enough already. Marvel now molding the originals after the Hollywood versions is really sad and pathetic.

Why is Tony taking his helmet off? Last I checked his armor and his body became one. All he has to do is think and the armor will go away.

@niknik Old Tony Stark is boring and kind of a fail. Besides boring taciturn genius is dime a dozen. Reed Richards is one. And then Hank Pym (50/50 passive aggresive) and Bruce Banner. Loudmouth genius is Tony Stark and his kid brother, Peter Parker.

Then if we look at Avengers Trinity, Thor and Steve Rogers and Tony Stark, one has to be the extrovert.

Intruder

Your comment is priceless!!!

Personally I liked old Tony, funny how people don't get so up in arms about the accuracy of his portrayal in the movie.

I would really love it if Marvel Now just told new stories with the old teams have an Avengers with Hulk, Iron Man, Cap, Thor and Pym plus a Secret Avengers with Cap's cooky quartet.

Do the same for X-Men original team and whoever is alive from Giant-Size as the primary teams. But they shouldn't mess up X-Force

All media, involving tv movies and anything news related is controlled. Most people think your crazy but once you start to connect the dots your come to realize its all bullshit. To the enlightened ones i applaud you, to the others who say were crazy without disproving us makes them phonies anyways...

Heh. I guess ignorance is bliss, right, Intruder? Or should I say... only true nimrods embrace ignorance like some sort of [happy] plague. Regardless of my comment being [opinion] or not, it still doesn't justify your response. Yet another internet tough guy. Talk is so cheap. Typing is even cheaper.

@niknik- nah, bro, I have no problem with what marvel is doing. It's smart cross marketing. Comic books and Comic book stores are a dying breed. Yet millions of young people went to see the Avengers on the big screen this summer. With the advent of the Internet, video games,iPads and what not, comics aren't on many kids to do list. But the Avengers were loved by youngsters, and for sure parents are going to hit the comic book store to pick up a few books starring their kids favorite characters. But if the characters don't match up with their movie counter parts, kids will be confused and lose interest. So Marvel is smartly using the success of their movies to lead youngsters right back to their local comic shop, busting up a failing industry.

@Intruder, I'm with you bro, don't need no conspiracy nuts on this site. If there is an illuminati, who gives a crap. The rich and powerful always shape the future. They've been doing it for thousands of years. What do I care, im not going to change jack shit. They can do as they please. But as long as there comic books ,video games etc, I'm cool.

I'd use the gems in this instance.

And what's to stop Charles from mind-reading them all and finding out where they hid their gems then collecting them for himself? Only Charles.

I don't care for Strange's new costume. Bring back the old gear.

I also think, between Reed, Tony, and Strange they ought to be able to figure out some way to stop the Phoenix 5. Might need to bring is some additional brainpower, like a Pym or even a Doom, to really bring it together. But these guys are heavy hitters in the problem solving department and the presumably have enough data to work from at this point. Have Reed bust out the Ulitmate Nullifier or else zap them all into the Negative Zone or something. Call in Galactus. Molecule Man. Sentry. Scarlet Witch. Anyone with reality warping abilities, dead or not. There's tons of options.

When I was referring to the "REAL" Tony Stark I wasn't talking about the douchebag they changed him into around the time Civil War was in the works. I mean the superhero billionaire playboy that guys like Michellin and Stern used to write. As far as I'm concerned there are too many Marvel Characters who were no longer written to type simply because of the D-List talent Marvel began hiring for many titles, then compound that with the tail now wagging the dog due to Avengers Film success and the real 616 character types are completely lost.
