Gillen on Uncanny X-Men: "This is like the X-Men operating on a scale we've never seen them operate on before." Gillen said that in his book, the X-Men are trying to be the "premier superhero team. The dial's turned far, far, far to the right," Gillen said, calling the X-Men "superhero team as nuclear deterrent."
Asmus discusses Generation Hope: "The team is sticking with their mission. Sebastian Shaw was mindwiped and left off the map. Once the team sees a signature that is unaccounted for, they're going to go after it thinking it's a new mutant, only to find out that it's Sebastian Shaw."
New X-Men: Legacy creative team is writer Christos Gage and artist David Baldeon.
Wood on the five-issue miniseries Wolverine and the X-Men: Alpha & Omega: "They sort of have it out here in a way you might not think. It's a confrontation that's on Quentin's terms, almost entirely. Armor is brought into the mix, she's kind of a bit of collateral damage."
Now David is talking about Havok and Polaris joining X-Factor: "It's an incredible opportunity. I think fans of the current X-Factor will be pleased, and I think people who were fans of X-Factor back in the day, when this was more or less the original team, are going to have a blast with what we have coming up."
New ongoing series: Age of Apocalypse by David Lapham and Roberto De La Torre. Starts in May 2012.
Wolveirne #300 is coming from Jason Aaron, Adam Kubert "and more." "Everything I've done on Wolverine has been building to this," Aaron says. Wolverine #300 will have the "first look" at the Jeph Loeb and Simone Bianchi return of Sabretooth story.
New Deadpool arc starting with February's issue #50: "Dead." "He may have just found that way [to kill himself]," Singh says.
Alonso said they've tried hard to make it so Cyclops isn't a villain.
Will the impact of Scott's oldest friends — Beast and Iceman — siding with Wolverine be dealt with? Pak: "Read Astonishing. We're definitely delving deep into that starting with #44."
"We love Bishop," Alonso replied. "We have to figure out the right way to bring him back."
Fan asked, essentially, why the X-Men were so awesome. David: "Because we tell good stories have resonance to generation after generation after generation."
