NBC has released a list of shows currently set for renewal and not among that list is Constantine. Though this isn't confirmation that the show won't return for a second season as the list only contains NBC's most succesful shows. It is possible that NBC is waiting to see what ratings the show garner in these next few episodes before passing judgement. Official judgement can be excpected around the shows season finale on Friday, February 13th.

When John heads to a local hospital to investigate a mysterious attack, he enlists an unwitting Manny to help him. Meanwhile, a health scare causes Zed to question the source of her visions.

I hope WB lets him keep his role on the big screen at least. Cast him Del Toro!

Constantine will return in Justice League dark movie, so no problems if it is canceled, maybe it's better that way.

Don't bother waiting for the answer. My judgement on Snorestantine is clear. Guilty! The sentence is cancellation.

I doubt this rumor, but the rumor is that the show might end up on Syfy instead. If it's true I'm ok with that.

Not surprising, still a damn shame because it had potential to overcome it's flaws.....Oh well still enough comic series left.

It's weird how people can praise a shitty show like Arrow or SHIELD and then shit on this one wihout watching beyond the pilot.

It's not a great show, but it's not bad at all.

Agens of SHIELD 2.5/10
Arrow 3/10
Flash 4/10
Constantine 5/10

I want to see a second season, although it would be nice if it was somehow moved to CW and we could see some crossovers.

They didn't do well setting this apart from any other supernatural TV show. Drop the Constantine name and you just got another generic supernatural show. Also, the female supporting actress was annoying as well as her back story. It like Supernatural minus the humor.

I can't really comment on the whole timeslot issue, as that's something that doesn't affect me, due to me having to watch all the shows online or otherwise anyways if I don't want to wait for the blu-ray release in my country. So that was never a problem for, but there were others.

I really like the show's Constantine as a character, but sadly for me most of the supporting characters just aren't as strong or interesting as in other shows. This might have improved had they been given more time, but so far neither Zed nor immortal bearded guy nor the angel managed to win me over.

Also the bigger story never got a proper chance to develope, and while the individual smaller stories we got were nice in their own right they didn't manage to really get me hooked. And once the season had been cut in half there was never really a chance of these things improving.

So I gotta say: one great titular character going through a monster/case of the week type story just wasn't enough to keep my attention. I never really developed a feeling of "I must watch the next episode", it was more like "yeah, I kind of want to watch the next episode, but it's not that urgent... oh looky, now I already have 3-4 episodes I need to catch up with".

I do wish for Constantine to get another chance, though. It's an enjoyable and promising show, and it'd be sad to just see it vanish completely.
