Apparently, Marvel Studios will reveal the title of the upcoming Thor sequel today during the Iron Man 3 panel, along with some possible early footage featuring visual effects reel. More after the jump...

And so it begins... With today's Iron Man 3 panel at San Diego Comic Con, Marvel Studios will reveal much more about their upcoming projects. Now, IGN has exclusively revealed that the full title for Thor sequel might be Thor: The Darkest World. Report also says this:

"The title will be revealed during today's Marvel panel at San Diego Comic-Con panel in Hall H. We hear there may even be some footage from the film shown. (We'd imagine it might be visual effects/proof of concept-type stuff.) Want even more cool Marvel movie news? That Ant-Man footage that Edgar Wright recently shot will be shown to the fans, according to our sources."

Exploring Thor's relationship with the Asgardian all-father Odin, as well earthbound companion Jane Foster, “Thor 2” follows the God of Thunder to other worlds beyond Asgard and earth. With the Warriors Three tagging along, among other Asgardian warriors, more mythical Norse creatures are expected. “Thor 2” stars Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Hiddleston, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano, and Ray Stevenson. Alan Taylor (“Game of Thrones”) takes over directorial duties from Kenneth Branagh, who helmed the first “Thor” film. And “Thor 2” hits theaters November 8th, 2013.
