Tickets For This Year's San Diego Comic Con Sell Out In Just 93 Minutes
Were you hoping to go to this year's San Diego Comic Con? Well, you're too late bub! Tickets went on sale earlier today and sold out in less time than the length of your average comic book movie. Hit the jump for details!
This year's San Diego Comic Con takes place from July 18th - July 21st, but Deadline reports that many fans have been left empty handed after some frustrating technical glitches plagued those attempting to purchase tickets earlier today. Passes to the event went on sale at 9am PST and all of those were gone by 10.36am. However, for the second year in a row, the enormous demand led to the site crashing and confusion over how to obtain tickets. This has of course led to a negative backlash from disappointed fans who have missed out on the opportunity to attend the most gloriously geeky event on Earth. All hope is not lost just yet though as the official SDCC Twitter account later promised that, "A resale of returned badges may be held at a later date". Were you lucky enough to nab a pass to the event? Sound off in the usual place!
