DOCTOR STRANGE IN THE MULTIVERSE OF MADNESS Clips Pit Wong Against Gargantos And Take Us Into The Multiverse

Two new clips from Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness have found their way online, and we see Wong showing what he's made of as Sorcerer Supreme and take a wacky trip through the Multiverse...

With less than a week to go until Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness opens in theaters, two new clips from the movie have started doing the rounds on social media (we apologise in advance for the obnoxious watermark). In the first, Wong shows what he's capable of as the MCU's new Sorcerer Supreme by unleashing a devastating series of attacks on Gargantos.

However, he soon finds himself in need of a helping hand, and it's there Strange hopefully comes in.

The second sneak peek might be the most interesting of the two because it reveals more of Stephen and America Chavez's trip through the Multiverse. They take on various forms as they fall through realities, and while those worlds they pass are certainly unique, they don't appear to be based on any particular timelines or specific worlds that will be known to comic book fans.

Take a look at these new Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness clips below:

In Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, the Marvel Cinematic Universe unlocks the Multiverse and pushes its boundaries further than ever before. We'll journey into the unknown with Doctor Strange, who, with the help of mystical allies both old and new, traverses the mind-bending and dangerous alternate realities of the Multiverse to confront a mysterious new adversary.

The movie's cast includes Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Elizabeth Olsen, Benedict Wong, Xochitl Gomez, Michael Stühlbarg, and Rachel McAdams. The film is directed by Sam Raimi, and Kevin Feige is the producer. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Eric Hauserman Carroll and Jamie Christopher serve as executive producers. The screenplay was written by Loki Head Writer Michael Waldron.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set to be released on May 6.

Does Wong have a relic? Seems like he'd be deserving of one.

LMFAO. People on Twitter shitting on how the clips are playing out like that ain't Raimi style only cements that NOSTALGIA is what's carrying his Spider-Man films.

I would bet that one of the places in the multiverse sequence is some sort of Easter Egg.

Love seeing a Marvel superhero have a gigantic battle go down in Manhattan. More of this please.

@GhostDog - Crazy to think that MCU Spidey never had a single battle in Manhattan (unless you include the short fight in Infinity War)

@GhostDog - Hulk had a gigantic battle in Harlem, Iron Man had a gigantic battle in Queens in Iron Man 2, The Avengers had a titanic battle in Midtown Manhattan, Infinity War had a gigantic battle in Manhattan, Hawkeye had a brawl in Rockefeller center in Midtown Manhattan and now Doctor Strange and Wong in Multiverse of Madness. I love when the heroes have battles in NY.

@SonOfAGif - something about Manhattan though. Mainly my comment was a subtle dig at not having emit Spidey battles In Manhattan

Welp, looks like I picked the wrong week to stop doing hallucinogens ;). I had said that in a previous post if AMC's ticket stubs for this movie don't include a little corner with some acid that you can just rip off (BTW I'm calling dibs on the patent for that idea), that I'd be pretty disappointed. But after watching that second clip... I'm thinking that's got potential bad trip written all over it. So maybe it's for the better that they don't. In fact they probably were planning on it but after an early screening of the movie scrapped those plans. SO I will no longer be disappointed. Good on them for being responsible :p
