When Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is finally released, something tells us we're going to be extremely busy looking back at all the rumours that ultimately proved to be false. A lot of these self-proclaimed "scoopers" are likely to be exposed, and we now have another bold claim about Sam Raimi's highly anticipated Marvel Studios movie.
According to The Direct, Ultron Sentries are set to factor into the Doctor Strange sequel, with the site noting that "the Sub-Ultrons will come from a different universe that Stephen Strange visits during his multiverse adventure."
The timing of this scoop is a little suspect, especially as What If...? just introduced Infinity Ultron and his army. That villain has managed to breach the Multiverse, so the Sorcerer Supreme crossing paths with a live-action version of the villain could make for a fun cameo from the animated series.
Hayley Atwell's Captain Carter is already rumoured to make an appearance, but going back to Ultron, we can't help but wonder whether this scoop is tied to another "leak" on social media:
We'll have to wait and see, but this is certainly an intriguing prospect. A first look at Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness could be with us before the year is out, though Marvel Studios might wait until Spider-Man: No Way Home before shedding too much light on what's to come in this adventure.
