Angelina Jolie (
Maleficent, Wanted, Salt) is someone fans have been hoping to see sign on for a superhero movie for many years now, and earlier this week,
news broke that the Academy Award-winner was in talks for a main role in Marvel's
The Eternals.
Although the identity of her character is being kept under wraps, the fact that she's said to be playing the female lead has led to speculation that she must be portraying Sersi; the powerful psionic illusionist who revels in her humanity.
While there are several other possibilities, Sersi does seem like the safest bet, and
Boss Logic has now put together a pretty cool piece of fan-art which may give us some idea of how Jolie would look in the role.
