Now that Warner Brothers' have cast Gal Gadot as Diana, here are my thoughts on who should be cast in the supporting roles of a Wonder Woman franchise.

Steve Trevor: John Krasinski






Mala: Natalie Dormer (Game of Thrones/Tudors)






Wonder Woman's Mother (Hippolyta): Kate Beckinsale






Wonder Woman's Father (Whoever the character ends up being): navid negahban (Homeland)





Artemis of Bana-Mighdall: Bipasha Basu (Bollywood actress)





Ares (as Ares Buchanan): Rupert Friend (Homeland).






This is my brainstorm of the main supporting characters. So what do you guys think?

This sucks! When did WW get a father? Unless you want him to be Zeus.

I still can't believe they retconned the Perez origin just to make WW the daughter of Zeus.
Besides, if you're gonna go back to the Olympian geneology, then Ares is Hippolyta's father and, as such, Zeus is Wonder Woman's grandfather.
Interesting casting, by the way. Thinking outside the box. I'd be curious who you'd get to play Wonder Woman, if Gal Gadot suddenly died from malnutrition or something.

WW's old man is Zeus n whilst Negahban is a good actor, he doesn't really seem like a good fit for that role n as for Trevor, well currently he's essentially a badass elite soldier, Krasinky whilst also talented, doesn't quite seem right for that too...

Although Zeus is WW's father in the latest adaptations of WW origin story its something I don't personally see eye to eye with. You need Wonder Woman to be atleast half human... she has to be relatable and she should be able to relate to humans...

I would personally rather her be a daughter of a human man (of an enemy army - maybe persian) and Hippolyta.
