More Wrath Of The Titans Casting News: Atwell, Nighy, Kebbel All Set To Join

Hot on the heels of Ramirez' casting(read about it below) we have word that several other actors are in talks to sign on to the fantasy sequel. Captain America's Hayley Atwell, Bill Nighy and Toby Kebbel..

It seems that the role of Andromeda is to be recast for the sequel to Clash Of The Titans and Hayley Atwell(Who we will see as Peggy Carter in Captain America) is on the shortlist of actresses to play the part. Others include Georgina Haig (Wasted on the Young), Janet Montgomery (Black Swan), Dominique McElligott (Moon) and Clemence Poesy, who played Fleur Delacour in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.



Apparently Toby Kebbel(Dead Man's Shoes, Rockenrolla) is close to accepting the role of Agenor and veteran thesp Bill Nighy is being courted for Hephaestus. Sam Worthington, Liam Neeson and Ralph Feinnes are also set to reprise thrir roles in the Jonathan Liebesman directed sequel.

Recently Worthington was quoted as promising more from this sequel, and basically admitting the first one was a load of old wank! Lets hope he's right. With these cast additions(provided they happen of course) it's certainly on the right track.

Clash was aload of old wank and as much as i hate the old films my dad used to watch,the original is alot more fun to watch and sam worthingtons acting was terrible and i rarely notice when they act bad,at least this time they dont have an original to copy off

I didn't think the first was THAT bad... I think I had a higher expectations for it. The second time around I warmed up to it so much I ended up buying it.

anyone know if they've casted Pirithous in 'immortals' yet?

Was the first one REALLY all that bad? I though it was ok, not worth buying or seeing in theater, but I rented it and I don't feel like I got jipped.

Immediately when i read that Bill Nighy is in this i knew he was going to play Hephaestus!xD... God im good!
I hope this one is better than the first! Which you cant even call as a decent movie!

Superman7@ Thats exactly what happened to me! My expectations were [frick]ing high and finally when i saw it, it was huge and i mean huge dissapointment!
Which really sucks cause it had potential to be a [frick]ing epic movie like The Lord of the Rings!
They cut too much of it and only thing what end up shining in the movie was the special effects!
There was no time to getting know the characters!

Jose @ I heard RockNRolla 2 (The Real Rocknrolla) might not happen :(.

Rocknrolla is easily one of my favorite films, I've probably watched the BluRay 20+ times since I bought it.

EDIT: Actually, I guess it's back on after a bit of googling, people are assuming it'll be after Sherlock Holmes 2. The Real Rocknrolla, then Rocknrolla Suicide to complete the trilogy.

Bill Nighy as Hephaestus?I get that the character is supposed to be ugly and lame, but to get an actor that old?He's older than Neeson.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to this, but I think Immortals is going to blow it out of the water.
