I know some of you will hate the idea of a sequel for G.I Joe 2, but the director of Rise of the Cobra has stepped down and we got ZombieLand writers in the game! Aren't they attached to Deadpool? Well at least they will handle the script for the sequel to G.I Joe. According to Channing Tatum, he is ready for the role and believes that Cobra Island might appear in the film.

Promoting his new film, Dear John, which actually knocked AVATAR's run out of the box office for the first time, he revealed some updates on the upcoming G.I Joe sequel near the end of the video. Skip till near the end of the video to hear the G.I Joe tidbits.

Gr8Valkyrie: I think the sequel might pay off since Steven Sommers is not attached to the project and we might see a different and maybe a badass G.I Joe cast while Duke may still belong to Tatum.
