G.I Joe 2 to Include Cobra Island Says Channing Tatum

it will suck just as bad!!!!!! it was the worst movie ever, and i dont care who you change, director writers actors, the sequel will never be able to shed the taint of the crapfest.

Obviously tons of toys sold.

for what it was, it was a decent movie, not great. you expected campy material but if my memory serves me correctly, the cartoon was cheeserific; basing a movie on that is tough business. all and all, it was majorly flawed in it's acting but was an all-around "ok" movie.

Hi guys, I come to you from an ICU waiting room in GA, my father-in-law, who we shall call Big Poppa, is recouping from a serious illness and so I've been off the posts since last week. He's doing much better now so wish him luck.

Most of you know my feelings on GI JOE the rise of shit fest, and especially Mister Channing Tatum…. I utterly despise them both, along with “the director” Stephen Sommers. I hated this flick with a passion I thought was unreachable over something so trivial to my life as a whole.

I don’t want any kind of sequel to this franchise, hell I’d like to think the whole thing never happened and I think the idea of releasing a sequel to this tripe is horribly misguided and unwarranted anyway.

The truth is the first film was a modest, extremely modest, success given its budget and the GI Joe 25th anniversary line of toys in release before the film were actually far out selling the Movie Joe figures that replaced them, if the studio and Hasbro know what is good for them they will lay off a sequel and come back in 10 years with a reboot done properly. If not, given the horrible reviews of the first film and the general bad taste it left in the fan’s and general public’s mouths I think they are going to have a mega bomb on their hands.

And as for those who say, but the cartoon was campy… Yes it was, but the comic done by Marvel and written by Larry Hama was truly kickass and proof that this property if handled with respect could be a damn good series.

Fix cobra commander please..If something needs rebooted it's this..

i like the first movie i thought it was a good set up they sdhowed who the hero and villians( so the ppl who saw the movie know who are good and bad) were. they got some action init( ppl like action in movie) and a lil love story( they just did it for the girls but it worked out great made lot of sense) and a great ending to set up a sequel( if you seen the movie you know that the president was replace by that guy that could be any1 and cobra was sent to jail with destro and everyone knows the president will let them go free or something )


nerosday- dude only the fans didnt like it and im a fan of g.i.joe and i liked the movie and alot of the non-fan who never knew what or who g.i.joe or even read a single comic book of g.i.joe loved the movie it was just a movie to see with your family and have fun. and i had fun watching it it was good( thats my opinion)


and they just need to fix combra helmet and thats it.

xmutantx- i agree with you tatum isnt a bad actor which all actors are not bad or great they are all good. and he does play a solider in his movies know which hes actuallyy good at. and dude he could do emtion seen from his new movie dear jhon

Look guys I think G.I Joe is not the worse CBM ever. I mean it wasn't great but it was decent and fun in a sense. The Worse CBM hands down was Catwoman yuck! Spiderman 3 sucked as well.

I really enjoyed the first movie. Most of the Acting sucked nuts, but The awesome fights scenes and Sienna Miller in them Baroness = Awesome. Channing Tatum did a horrible job as Duke, He needs to be fired, Wayans needs to be fired, please God get rid of Dennis Quad.

I liked G.I. Joe. Every person I know in real life has liked it. EVERYONE online hates it. Kinda strange. Anyway, I will see it regardless, cause I love GI Joe itself (Snake Eyes). Hopefully we will see more characters in the sequel. I really want to see Beachhead from the Joes and the Twins from Cobra. Oh and if they could PLEASE change Cobra Commander back to the old school outfit or the newer KKK version I'd be very happy.

Reboot! Reboot! What the f*ck was the booster suit thing? Crap!!! and Cobra commander was butchered worse than Anakin Skywalker. I hate pointless unbelievable character connections...Why did Duke have to date the Baroness?!!!?? whose brother is Cobra Commander or the Doctor or what ever the f*ck that was...why did Darth Vader build C-3PO...Arrgg kill this before it gets worse.
