In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.

I've thought the design is pretty cool from the start but the one thing I thought would work better was some more black parts of the body so as to accentuate the green.
It'd make the green more prominent I think.

It's hard to tell because the CGI is still being tweaked, and this is only a poster, but it seems that they've added more black.

You have to love the vast creativity of the marketing team on Green Lantern...

Marketing Executive #1: Alright guys, so what should we do next to promote Green Lantern?

Marketing Executive #2: Oh, I know! Let's have Hal Jordan standing valiantly while sticking his fist and his ring out towards the screen, but we'll use the same headshot of Ryan Reynolds that we've been using for the past 9 months.

Marketing Executive #1: But we've used that pose like 5 times now...

Marketing Executive #2: No we haven't Bill, you're drunk...

@BoosterGirl I have yet to see it, but it seems like none of the advertising for that movie so far has done it any justice. Although I do hear that it's quite good...

I love the advertisements for GL. I just wish they used different shots of Reynolds. The same old face and poses are becoming a real bore. What makes it interesting is the lighting, background and style.

...I'm over these [frick]ing posters. poster after poster and they're all starting to look the same to me. The movie will still be dope, and completely own.

The mask - on the second one in particular - looks like it's just floating in front of his face. It doesn't look like it's perfectly placed to hide his eyes.

WB sure is having a lot of issues with this CGI film. I'm sure they wished they wouldn't have gone that route now that they see how much time and money it's taking to get it absolutely perfect.

From the lighting and the tilt of his head, I don't think that's the same headshot we've seen before. I think Ryan just has the exact same expression.

Just blew up the page and read the tiny captions. It's in Spanish and its copyrighted for Argentina, so I'm assuming it's for the South American country, Argentina. For those that were wondering where it's for.

Well, this is not bad but i prefer the others. And for tiny captions in spanish, i`m from Argentina, and its ok.

"En la noche mas oscura habra luz" can traslate like "In blackest night there will be light"
