A test pilot is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe.

Directed by Martin Cambell Green Lantern stars Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris, Peter Sarsgaard as Hector Hammond and Mark Strong as Sinestro is slated for release here in the states on June 17th.

I love the darker tone of the costume/mask.

It gives the movie a more serious vibe, at least for me.

Say what you will about Arab people, but they have a cool-looking alphabet.

It would be really unfortunate - but hilarious - if the classic GL logo was coincidentally a rude word in some other language.

Awesome!!! I can speak Arabic fluently and when I saw these fascinating posters I felt more convinced to see this movie. Go GL (though Im still a proud Marvel fan) :)

I hope they do more international posters, especially for Cappy and Thor :)
