With less than a month before the worldwide release, THR reports that Iron Man 2 will premiere at a Disney Theater, showing alignment of Marvel and It's New owner.
"Iron Man 2" will have its Los Angeles premiere at the historic El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood on Tuesday, May 4.
This despite the sequel being a Paramount release and Paramount having a deal to distribute the current batch of Marvel movies.
The L.A. premiere is actually just over a week after the movie's world premiere, which will be in London on April 26. The movie will apparently open internationally before it's released in the U.S.
The setting for the "Iron Man 2" after-party is TBD."
I think this may be the first public presence of the Disney Merger.
