People to Blame for Iron Man 3 Twist and How to Fix the Problem

Because of the twist on the Mandarin in Iron Man 3, people such as Kevin Feige, Guy Pearce, Shane Black and all of those responsible for making this twist happen because now there is no telling whether it will affect the rest of Marvel or not.

After about 4 to 5 years, Marvel has been doing an awesome job on Phase One of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But when it got to Iron Man 3, things turned from exciting to disappointing when the executive producers started screwing up the Mandarin for some reason which is either one of the following:

*Mandarin looking like Darth Sidious

*Producing the computer animated effects for the projection of the rings powers were too difficult

*The wanted to express the stupid people using people as mask crap from the Dark Knight Trilogy instead of doing the character properly by the book

*They were too bent on keeping the films check in normal life reality

*Couldn't stand doing him properly as the actual and more specific leader of the ten rings because of the beard and fear of tensions in other countries rising

*The were getting lazy and just didn't care about what fans want over their own selfish beliefs and opinions

What ever the reason they had for not doing the Mandarin right at all was totally selfish for them to do, its like they forgotten how important the rings that the Mandarin wears are to the character and how they make him the ultimate enemy and arch enemy of Iron Man and if there is anyone blame for making this catastrophe happen its these people whose names are below and for serious reasons why:

*Guy Pearce; for being the wrong character to be called Mandarin when he was not using any power rings or looking like the character or and is certainly not afghanistinian at all which makes his character Aldrich Killian a plague to the Marvel Cinematic Universe and to everything Marvel and the Mandarin stands for that made every fan so angry that some of the staff who were well aware of the risk fear that the twist may eventually result to lynching

*Shane Black; for directing the twist scenes that ruined Mandarin in Iron Man 3 but is now starting to understand why he and the rest of the film makers should have done Kingsley's character properly from the comics and as the proper leader of the 10 rings but if he does not take back his speculation of Killian being MCU Mandarin, it will end up causing bigger problems for everyone

*Drew Pearce; for writing the script to Iron Man 3 but was well concerned for the issues that the twist on the character would bring about

*Christopher Nolan; for infecting the minds of the MCU film producers by making both his first and wanted last films feature twists on majors characters on both appearances and chain of command

*Liam Neeson; for playing the real Ra's al Ghul in Batman Begins who decieves Bruce Wayne with a double but that isn't a big deal

*Marion Cottilard; she is to blame for her role as Talia Al Ghul in Dark Knight Rises because she had to go revealing herself to Batman at the point where she had to ruin the best part of the Movie and for being so f-ing irritating for not dying right away after Batman blown her of the freeway without being so irritatingly anticipative

*Warren Ellis; if he did not create the Extremis comics then it would certainly not have encouraged the film executives into ruining the character over such bullcrap

*Jon Feavreau; if he did not leave to direct some stupid Cowboys and Aliens movie, he would have made sure that the Mandarin stayed the way he was before the stupid twist idea plagued Kevin Feige's mind

and the one to blame most for this error is MARVEL's head film executive Kevin Feige; because he purposly chose to violate the character over his own selfish opinion about him by making the official Mandarin that officially portrayed Mandarin a fake and making the real one the wrong person who was NOT the Mandarin from the comics at all, Feige has robbed us of our time and betrayed us all and if he knew this twist was going to upset many fans, he would not have dared to risk it because that would definately cause bigger problems

Because of how it went down, some of you think its hopeless to see the power rings the Mandarin wears to project lasers and magic in the films but you're wrong. Because Trevor Slattery, the real properly depicted Mandarin is still alive as he was last seen being arrested by policemen and remember what Tony said at that moment? We create our own personal demons and because Killian created his own evil out of the bankrupted actor as the Mandarin by making him look like an actual terrorist infront of the whole world and making him take the fall for his crimes of blowing up his own people and, there just might be hope that this violatingly wrong interpretation of the character can be legally overwritten without any excuses. And there is only one person right now who can reintroduce the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the more proper Mandarin that we all know respectively in the comics and sooner within less than 5 to 10 years

Joss Whedon

Surely if Joss Whedon has seen the movie and does have heart for fans, people and Marvel, he would be so kind enough to fix Ben Kingsley's character as the proper Mandarin from the comics by having Trevor Slattery aquire the power rings from Thanos and use them to battle Iron Man and lead the Masters of Evil into Battle against the Avengers

So if any of you are still anxious to see a more proper Mandarin that actually uses magic power rings in the films, then I suggest you all should get in touch with Joss Whedon and since he is still doing the script for the Avengers sequel, tell him and convince him to reintroduce the Mandarin as the proper villain we know favorably from the comics and have be the leader of the MCU's masters of evil and since he said that he won't do it without Robert Downey Jr. being Iron Man, then we should ask Downey to help us convince Whedon to recast Ben Kingsley into the Marvel Universe as the more proper Mandarin and I suggest we do it now!So contact Joss Whdon on Facebook now and tell him to reintroduce the Mandarin properly for Avengers 2 as its lead villain because afterall, he is the best logical choice we got, the Mandarin.

I applaud your obsession toward this particular subject. Really, how many articles have you made regarding this whole matter? And blaming people completely unrelated to the movie for this your perceived mistake? Come on. Okay, however silly and outstretched it sounds, that Christopher Nolan point may just have some sort of a validation, but Liam Neeson? Marion Cotillard? Actors whose job are only to bring what the script tells them to, without no involvement in the creative input process whatsoever? Moreover, it's Warren Ellis' right to conceive that idea, and pour it into a print form, which also happens to be a part of his [frick]ing job as a writer. Do you think it's his decision for it to be adapted to the big screen in such a manner? And Jon Favreau still has a kind of involvement with his position as an executive producer. Point is, stop looking for excuses, and just get over it. The makers' "laziness" and "selfish beliefs and opinions," are truly their vision, which demands us fans to look at something beyond what meets the eyes. That's about my two cents, but...hey, I'm sure this will not affect your stance, and I didn't expect it to, anyway. Look, I really don't mind differing views, but when it features ridiculous points like above, I simply am baffled.

People, just drop the whole Mandarin debate. There really shouldn't be this much controversy. Some people liked it, others did not. Who cares? It's out there. Nothing needs to be "fixed". It's all a matter of opinion. You don't like it, then that's your problem. You do like it, then good, enjoy the movie. There's no need to keep bickering about it. There really is no point. What's done is done. They can't change the movie.

One more thing: Way to blindly overrate Joss Whedon. Look, I love the man, and I see how he's become some sort of a "fanboy god" for whatever the reason, but I believe he knows how to respect his fellow filmmaker's vision and creation. So rather than ending up being disappointed, you'd really better stop expecting that he'll follow such an imagination a portion of the fans have in mind, or trying to talk him into undoing what has happened in Iron Man Three. What? You think you can call him and say, "Hey, Joss, can you do me a favor and change the Mandarin into a precise verbatim of his comic book counterpart, because I don't like what Shane Black has done with him in the movie?" and he'll just reply, "Oh, sure. Screw Shane Black because that's very professional, and I'll completely revoke what I've written for the sake of following my loyal fan's demand! Thanks, man, and if there's anything more, you just need to contact me and I'll directly change it without any need to propose it to the whole studio."? Well, one may dream, so keep it up.

Really, I hate that the movie is perceived as bad by a lot of people, because of this one twist. The twist was a great plot point, yet people over look it because one, it was done to Iron Man's greatest villain, and two, because it was a surprise to them. When a film can have you fooled up until the reveal that who you thought was the villain really wasn't, then that movie has done a really good job at carrying it's plot along.
Also, none of you own any of these Marvel characters, so you do not get to dictate what creative licenses the people making these films have. You should be glad these films exist at all. Honestly, if you remove all those that hate the film, or lowered their score for Iron Man 3, over the twist, which like I said, was a good plot point, people are just to blind to see it, then Iron Man 3 would probably be the highest rated superhero film.

I still like the film, but here what I would have done:
-Make the Mandarin a terrorist but not a cliché one like the fake was.
-Mandarin find Chitauris tech and turn them into ring weapon.
-Mandarin associate himself with Killian and is injected with the Extremis witch is a nano version of the Project Rebirth.
- Killian want's revenge on Stark so he tweak the extremis witch now work like in the actual film.

I love Iron Man 3. All my friends love Iron Man 3.
so, so many people love the movie. and they should, cus its amazing, its human, and Shane Black knocked it out of the park. Totally upped the bar of what a solo film is capable of.

Oh, and I love Mandarin from the comics too. And guess what? I don't give a crap about the twist, cus Kingsley was awesome.
And Guy Pearce was a good stand in for Mandarin in the Haunted arc by the Knaufs. Bare chested, tattooed Mandy fighting mano a mano with Tony. No rings, no nothing, just ferociousness.

Who cares that he wasn't Asian? Mandarin's core is ultimate power and conquest at any cost, cus he thinks he's superior. Killian embodied that.

How the crap was Kingsley supposed to fight Tony anyway, the guy can't handle any stunts! People need to grow up and just swallow their pride and admit Shane Black played you for a sucker.

Chris Nolan, Liam Neeson, Marion Cottilard,Guy Pearce, Warren Ellis and a lot more of your little Kill Bill death list aren't to blame. Warren Ellis made an incredible comic that is one of the essential Iron Man stories. Joss Whedon can't do anything to change this without it sounding stupid (just like your plan). Guy Pearce, Liam Neeson and Marion Cottilard were just doing their jobs. Chris Nolan had no idea what Iron Man 3 was going to be like.

Shane Black, Drew Pearce and Kevin Feige are the ONLY ones to blame for this. The problems of this movie aren't only the twist. Shane Black and Drew Pearce are to blame for this damn stupid script that is more of an Iron Man parody than a movie, as his emphasises more on comedy than anything else. It may as been called "Superhero Movie 2" or "Not another superhero Movie!" as the comedy is flat and 12 year olds would only find it funny. Kevin Feige is to blame for getting this shit filmed and not firing Drew Pearce at least.

I say put Whedon in charge, not that he can do no wrong, but that he doesn't just care about the money.

You guys talk like you don't read the comics like your brains are infected by shit. All I am saying is that there is still a chance for Marvel to reintroduce the Mandarin as the character they had us expecting in the first place and even if it goes against Shane Black's ideal interpretation so what it's a one time exception that Marvel should make that is best for all of us and if you all should know why Kingsley's character should be reintroduced as the Mandarin in films Avengers 2 and a possible Iron Man 4, watch the scene of the Mandarin being arrested at the end of the film after Killian's death and then read the comics of him Iron Man fighting and then you had better understand why it was important for Mandarin to use power rings and not some bullshit extremis! I MEAN IT!

@PredatorRising...wah, wah, wah, Iron Man 3 wasn't supposed to be this great gem of the second phase of marvel movies it was a self contained story meant to say goodbye to RDJ as Tony Stark in solo films....so I blame you for how sad you are getting that the big bad guys at Marvel ruined a God Damn C-list villain like the Mandarin nobody asked you to watch the movie and nobody wants to hear you whine about it..get in your room turn on some emo music and cut yourself cuz nobody gives a damn about your tears..boo-hoo!

Spider Man 2 is one of the best superheroes of all time because of its themes and story. I have no idea which characters were butchered in that trilogy apart from venom -_-

@TeeKay....Venom, Goblin, Harry Osborn, Spider-Man, Gwen Stacy, Mary Jane, Doc Ock, Aunt May, Eddie Brock, Captain Stacy,Flash Thompson, etc... The only characters that Raimi did any justice was j. Jonah Jameson, and the Sandman.

You talk like a narrow-minded guy who lives only to glorify comic books, and...well, your brain is infected.

Wait. OK, you're talking to people who don't read comic books here, you're the expert, but you can't recognize the character you claim to know better than anyone else, if he's NOT represented as a perfect verbatim of his comic book counterpart? That sounds like anything but a loyal, healthy-minded fan to me. I assume that the character bearing the alien rings - which from the very first place have never been an element that is likely to be incorporated in the movie franchise, given the tone set by the first Iron Man movie - is more important than him being a face of terror to the public AND ultimately, a figure of archnemesis to Iron Man personally? Ah...then again, who am I to talk to the only guy around here who knows the core element of every comic book character!

Stop talking like your vision is "the best for all of us," in the sense it's the best for all of the fans. There are fans who know how to respect visions, and embrace open-minded way of thinking.

And stop living in this delusion where Joss Whedon will "fix" everything to fit your accordance. For all that I know, a) He's a professional, and b) He knows when to NOT violate a fellow filmmaker's ideal interpretation. The whole industry does. At this point, it's pretty damn unlikely for your so-called perfect vision to even be noticed by anyone in Marvel Studios, so...y'know, don't get disheartened if your demand eventually isn't met.

God, I hope you don't go on a killing spree, and assassinate those included in the above list next.

I blame the middle eastern movie market for not being as big as the Chinese movie market. They they wouldn't have made the mandarin arab-ish, and instead Peruvian or Zimbabweyan, or what not. Maybe eskimo, that would be closer actually. my point: DON'T PANDER TO THE CHINESE.

@IronSpider691 No sir, no no. the toby M. spiderman movies are not the best comic movies. spiderman 1 did stand solid for years, until 2 stopped the momentum, and 3 killed the series.

hey studios, don't pull a spiderman 3, don't pull a HULK, don't pull a IM3, and don't DO ANYTHING Michael Bay does. adhere to these rules, and your comic book movie will succeed.
