Revealed by The World's Finest, the back boxart to Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox has seemingly revealed the working title for the next installment in Direct-To-Video DC Animated films. As with every DTV, the Blu-Ray/DVD contains a sneak peek towards the next film and Flashpoint Paradox will contain a sneak peek at a film called Justice League: War. The World's Finest note that this title has not been confirmed by Warner Bros. and is subject to change. The film has not been announced, either. However, earlier this month Geoff Johns spoke to Collider about animated films, saying "There is a really cool one in development right now, that’s not necessarily — it’s very different from anything they’ve done before.". Could War be this "really cool" title?

Sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!

The "SuperPRGuy" of Warner Bros, Gary Miereanu has announced that Justice League: War and the rest of the 2014 slate of DC animated films will be announced at San Diego Comic Con!

I'm digging that title, what would it based off, I wonder?
Trinity War hasn't even started yet, but that might be cool.
Or maybe they're making the DC equivalent of Civil War.

So with Flashpoint coming out, does this imply that we will be seeing The New 52 versions of the characters in the animated movies after this?

@TheAlexLynch

Throne of Atlantis? Trinity War? The first fight against Darkseid? Either way...MORE AQUAMAN!

Isn't it likely, that it will be based on the Justice League: Origins arc? Which is fine, to me, since that story would fit better for an animated movie than anything else.

Speaking of which, I'm thinking the next DC Animated Batman movie will hopefully be "The Long Halloween".

It makes sense that after The Flashpoint Paradox, it would be the JL arc with Dark said. I hope they eventually do an Earth 2 animated film, that series has been great.

I've grown tired of WB/DC shit they take to damn long with there stuff, I used to love there animated movies but since 70% of the stuff they bring out is Batman, 29% Superman and 1% other DC characters i've finally hit the wall and said fu*k it. When a live action JL film hits then i'll be happy.

Want a Flash movie people? Buy Flashpoint.

Say what you will about DC live action but DC is kicking Marvel's ass in everything else. Who cares what you think about Arrow, it is one of the most watched TV shows. DC is killing it in video games with Injustice & Batman Arkham Origins while Marvel puts out Deadpool. DC is so far ahead in animation it's not even fair.

All I can remember from DC's WW3 was these scenes:

There was another one where Black Adam throws an aircraft carrier, but I just can't find a good image of it right now.

DC is killing it in animation and video games for sure, but live action isn't the only place where Marvel excels. In April 2013, Marvel had 14 of the top 20 selling comics while DC had 4. Both companies are kicking ass.

DC Animation can't go wrong. IMO they have never made a bad animated movie.

@DoubleD
Cartoons and animated series lets people see the characters more and have more stories with them .After those 4 movies are released you dont see characters or get stories from them for years.With all the hype of the MCU, it sire hasn't transcended to their animated forms for having series for their characters. You say you matured and watch only adult type films but you like Marvel movies which is so far away from adult type its not even funny.

None of the movies from DC or Marvel can top the stories from Justice League series especially the episodes Question Authority, Flashpoint, Panic in the Sky, & Divided We Fall.

DC Universe Online is the best comic book game out there right now.

I would love to see a NEW 52 animated film franchise, Specifically following and unfolding the events in the comics as they happened on the page. Would be pretty good. Assuming that the animation art is on par with the Jim Lee art, which (lets be honest) has not been the case thus far.

Lawd, DC stomping a mudhole in Marvel's ass animation wise, and I'm loving it!! My bluray collection is chucked full of animated goodness because of DC. Don't change a thing you guys!! Keep sticking it to Marvel and maybe one day they will catch up.

First day buy right here.

Levi: Sorry bro but, DC kicks Marvel's ass in games? Sorry but DC's only good games are the Batman: Arkham games. I would say Injustice but, I unfortunately haven't had the money to pick it up yet. Marvel has Marvel Ultimate Alliance (best superhero game ever), Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions, Spider-Man 2, The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men Legends games, Captain America: Super Soldier, X-Men Origins: Wolverine and X-Men: Next Dimension. Just to name a few. DC kicks Marvel's ass in comics since try went to the shitty Marvel Now. Animated shows belong to Marvel, live action goes to DC until Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is released. DC kicks Marvel's ass in animated movies even though Marvel has their fair share of animated movies that hold their own and we all know that Marvel rapes DC in live action films.
