It's not exactly a surprise that Zack Snyder has always had something of a grand plan in mind for the DC Extended Universe, and the filmmaker has now elaborated on how he views Justice League.
While it's previously been reported that we can look forward to a four-part miniseries on HBO Max, Snyder sounds hopeful for a six parter with an epilogue to boot.
"The thing about the movie I think that’s interesting is that, the way I constructed the cut was, it’s six chapters, right?" he tells The Film Junkee. "So, it was always this chaptered concept, you know, like where the first section says 'Part 1' and then you have this little section, and then 'Part 2,' and you have this other section, and then 'Part 3,' all the way through, six parts, and then epilogue."
Snyder would go on to say that, if given the choice, the movie would be released in black and white on IMAX screens. That makes sense based on the colourless Vero posts he's been sharing for the past two years, but it's unlikely to be presented in that format on HBO Max.
As well as sharing a new image on Vero, Snyder has also teased what we can expect from tomorrow's trailer. "Steph and I colored a black & white version of the trailer, and so, the first version I’m gonna put out, and probably what we’re gonna talk about on Tuesday, will be the black & white version of the trailer."
As the trailer is expected to be the same as the DC FanDome sneak peek, that's not a surprise.
